This coffee is soooo good! It tastes nothing like mushrooms. Friends who despise mushroom coffee have had it and didn't even know there were any in there. Worth th money for the flavor and health benefits!

I have tried several of the subscription mushroom coffees and while they did give some benefits, I was looking for an actual brewing coffee versus an instant powder to add to hot water, that would give the same benefits and not be gritty. I found that with this. I love that it has 10 mushroom blend and, again, is brewed as regular coffee. So far the benefits have been stellar. I have more energy, not jittery, an overall “calming” feeling, sharper mental focus, better digestion and sleeping thru the night. The taste is smooth, no mushroom taste as some might think and NO GRIT at the bottom of my cup. Best thing is it less expensive than the subscription brands, ships quickly and (in my opinion) is better than anything else I’ve tried. I like it so much, I put it on autoship!

I actually prefer this over regular coffee. There's a hint of a sweet earthy taste - not mushroomy.

3 Star because of the amount of caffeine. This is Not a coffee alternative or a way to ween yourself off caffeine. If that is what you are looking for. Yes -It tastes just like coffee because it is mostly caffeinated coffee. I bought a package and quickly brewed a pot, then mixed the remainder of into my Folgers, hoping to slowly ween off caffeine. Sadly I discarded the packaging and forgot to check amount of caffeine. I finished the folgers/ pureshrooms mixture over the next 3+weeks..I only drink 2 cups of coffee per day. I felt no difference at all re lack of sleep due to caffeine. So I ordered another bag this time ready to drink it straight without mixing into my Folgers --Also this time reading the packaging and found that the amount of caffeine listed NOT listed on packaging or in any reviews-anywhere! A lot of great reviews re the taste, but reviewers also tout this as an alternative to caffeine which is it absolutely is NOT. It does taste good, but I question how much mushroom is in it now. As for the company I emailed them direct (email and contact info on the package) They replied promptly, the same day! Answered my question regarding the amount of caffeine per cup. They said 100- 120mg of caffeine per cup. This is the same amount as a regular cup of coffee! However--Their instant coffee has only 45mg of caffeine per cup. I like a cup of brew and have never enjoyed instant coffee, so I haven't tried their version of instant coffee and cannot speak on its taste. Also, this will give you gas, not bad gas or bloating but always breaking wind since I started drinking it.

Great coffee, pricey for the amount but everything is more expensive now, Great flavor helped me lose weight

The product worked well initially as far as giving me more energy, but then it didn't. I was back to being exhausted. I gave it a break for awhile, and then went back to using it again, and it seemed to work well again. It tastes good and easy to prepare.

Big fan of this coffee. Coffee usually gives me jitters and spikes my anxiety- this does the opposite. It gives the energy without the negatives and honestly I think i've felt less anxious overall after having it for a few days. I haven't been able to have a cup off coffee in the evening for about 5 years, but this is fine to have even if you only have a few hours until you want to sleep. It tastes pretty solid, not like mushrooms or anything if that's what anyone is worried about; just a good cup of coffee. The only negative is the price- you can buy kona coffee (some of the best) for less. If you happen to find this on sale, snag like 4 bags, but still definitely worth a try!! I will likely be getting more of this.

Nice flavor. It doesn't taste 100% like coffee but with the fact that there is zero coffee actually in it I think the flavour is enjoyable. I find it coffee-ish with a sort of earthy almost campfire-smokey taste. I prepare it just like I do a regular coffee (2 cream, 1 sugar) First 2 cups I made with 100% mushroom coffee, and to be honest, it tastes so similar to coffee to me I thought it had some coffee in it. (I had originally looked at a brand that was a mix of mushrooms and coffee so I was thinking this was that). It woke me up like regular coffee and I didnt have the afternoon , I ended up getting a headache (which I have chronically - so I didn't attribute it to caffeine withdrawal). The second time I had it I also got a headache but again thought nothing of it - until my husband asked if this had caffeine in it. And well it doesn't! LOL Now I am mixing it half and half this and regular coffee. I'm not getting the headaches now. I am going to continue to reduce the regular coffee each day and then go 100% to this amazing stuff <3

For suggested amount, I use half of that, about 2 tbs per mug and it makes quite strong coffee, pretty much tasting like dark roast. Tastes a little bitter and nutty flavor, which isn't a bad thing, but best of all, its a health product and I am extremely happy that this exists. I bought the decaf one, and it is very strong with half the suggested serving per cup. Just wish it was more affordable so I could purchase this regularly.

Product wise, I do enjoy the smooth taste of this mushroom coffee. However the bag I most recently purchased was not sealed and had leaked coffee grinds all over. Be aware that this product cannot be returned to Amazon so purchase at your own risk.
