bought to store wheat berries .. Lids do not close Air Tight .. I even sat on the covers to help them close but NO they do not close air tight.. I can open them with 1 hand without forcing to open them.... I do NOT recommend

4 stars because this bucket is great for a lot of purposes, pickling, dry storage, fermentation. My only knock on stars is that, even though in the picture it clearly seals with a "permanent" pull tab lock thing. And it doesn't clearly state that in the title/description. I do worry repeatedly opening and closing/reusing the lid will eventually damage the airlock seal, but for now it's been working great. If the lid seal begins to fail, I will probably come back and knock a star off but otherwise 5 stars if your looking for a one time use sealable tamper proof bucket!
