Good for melting my Soap Bases.
I love the soap melter, just wish it had a temp control nob. Whenever the soap gets down low, you have to watch that it doesn't burn it. I do a goat milk soap base so it's even toucher with that. But I do overall love it and the nozzle doesn't clog. Once it heats up, it melts in the nozzle too and you're good to go.

10 minutes for a dozen bars of soap
This soap melter really does melt the soap so quickly. We made over a dozen bars of soap in as little as 10 minutes. Setup is easy and simple and clean up is just as fast. The mold it came with was a little flimsy but great for a basic mold just starting off. We love our lavender soap.

Overheated. Can’t control temperature
If you work with Melt and pour soap do NOT buy this. You cannot control the temperature so this should be enough for you not to buy this. In melt and pour, temperature is everything. This machine made me waste A LOT of soap base because it overheated and the soap became clumpy and gooey. I wish they made a machine where you could regulate the temperature.

Easily, safely, and cleanly scale melt and pour, even for beginners
I am not a pro - this is a hobby for me and I just make soap for personal use and gifts but I can't believe I did not know there was such a thing as a bulk melter for melt and pour base! In recent years I have explored cold process because it's much easier for creating soap in bulk, but having to go through the process of measuring chemicals, doing math, playing with a lye calculator, etc. kills both the fun and immediacy of the entire process that you get with melt and pour -- and then you still have to wait to make sure your formula was correct and the soap sets up correctly. THIS IS A GAMECHANGER!!! Previously, with melt and pour, I melted my base in the microwave, and it's just not practical (not sure it's even possible in my microwave) to melt down 2.6 lbs (or more) at one time to make a loaf. Now, it is! I can keep my base at temp and do entire loafs. You're not supposed to mix anything in the urn besides base and maybe I did and maybe I didn't try mixing in scent and color and maybe it turned out just fine - proceed at your own risk. ;) It's actually also great even if you stick with small batches or even singles and want to do a bunch at a time -- it's easy enough to dispense only what you need for 1,2, or more soaps into your measuring cup, mix and pour, quickly clean up your measuring cup and start on the next single or batch with no downtime. This thing is large and it is a bit bulky to clean, but I don't see any way around that as far as design. I haven't ever made candles, so I don't know what the melting point for wax is, but provided it's less than or equal to the melting point of melt and pour, I could see how this would be great for candle makers, as well -- maybe I have a new hobby in the making!

Heats up fast
I like the fast melt, because it is just as described. I used this to make hand soap, and it has helped me produce more soap than ever before. It has cut my time down, and now I will be able to stock up my soap and focus on other projects. It has been great for expanding my business. I will add two more very soon!

Used and tested garbage
This is garbage and a headache. Reasons: 1. It only heats up in a small circle area within this large pot. (Pic) 2. Had for 4 months and will not always melt the soap 3. Your product (wax/soap) will burn / get scorched 4. It always clogs in the spigot and you will have to take it apart, even using their cleaning instructions 5. Btw it will clog as the soap is coming out the spigot. 6. Bc it doesn’t heat on the sides u will need to scrape it off the side and get burnt like me. See pic 7. Not recommended for large productions for high volume business. Production loss & Business $ loss
