This is not too bad of a taste but regardless of taste this is the first thing I reach for when I start to feel a cold coming on or when I happen to be around someone who isn't feeling well. I have a special needs son and when he starts sneezing and getting runny nose I give him this and believe it or not the next day he is all better. This is really great.

Very short window for expiration date! I would have expected at least a year plus for expiration dates -this is four months! And… I cannot return this. I am not happy.

Absolutely love this product. With the weather getting cooler in VA and often wake up with a tickle in my throat. One teaspoon of this elderberry syrup with some hot water knocks out any oncoming cold. My sister who is into alternative healing put me on to this and I can say it helps alot during cold season. I prefer this than the cold medicines that tend to make you drowsy and lord knows what else they do to you. The reason I gave it a 4 start was because the short expiration date ...was about a month from the date I purchased it.

Sambucus truly works, me and my wife due to Saharan Dust experienced sore throat both took a table spoon then twenty minutes later the uncomfortable feeling was gone.
