I does the job but again its quite small and you will end up with miniature idlis.Its also time consuming to make in large batches.i would not recommend.

It is for mini idli.. you will be disappointed if you are looking for normal sized idli. But they do a pretty good job for making mini idli. I bought it along with Hawkins 3 Litre cooker.. It is perfect and takes hardly 10 min and the idli don't stick with the idli stand..
