Fits my 2013 Tacoma well. Plenty strong.

In just a matter of months, 2 of the posts have swollen and are damaged. My theory is that the aluminum is not the right kind for this application and cannot handle temperature fluctuations. That said I’m in East Tennessee with relatively mild weather. Going to drill some weap holes in the bottom in hopes it slows the deterioration. I would be happy to change my review if the seller wants to make this right.

I modify this to work on some elevate t-track rails. Worked out pretty well.This rack is pretty strong even though the crossbars are joined at the middle. It’s well made. My big gripe about it is that it does not have any channel slot rubber filler…so the wind noise is pretty bad. I had to buy that elsewhere and cost $25

Feb09, 2024:The mounting plates are not square with the extension tubes. Once you get those tight, loosen the cross bars and extenders, you can't adjust them because the misalignment causes it to bind. I see other reviews had the same problem with the mount plates. The directions are OK but not clear. I'm gonna give this product the benefit of the doubt and see if the exchange will yield better results. If that doesn't look any better I'm giving up and returning this.Update feb17, 2024:Additional pictures are the second set. Still the same problem, bad quality control. I'm sure these would be fine for anyone who doesn't intend to utilize the adjustability, but that was the reason I tried this particular product. I'm not gonna waste my time trying to make this work with subpar manufacturing. Second set is getting returned and I will have to come up with a better solution elsewhere.I will say though, customer service did contact me directly and recognized my concerns and I do appreciate that. They made effort to be accommodating and for that I'll bump the review from one star to two.

2023 Nissan Frontier. Tired of racks for Tacos not considering mounting for Frontiers. I caved for this unit in black (silver comes w/ clamps) does not come w/ mounting clamps but ordered those separate and they work fine. Slope of uprights matches slop of the truck. The base plate of the uprights extends ~ 1/4" past the plastic top cap of the bed. The top tubes are multi piece but with an inner re-enforcing tube (~15") to mate. Mounting plates are 1/8" and solid. All holes and parts are precision made. No slop, burrs, or miss-alignment. Packaging was awesome. each piece was individually foam wrapped and well seated in the shipping box. 1 nit, the end caps for the top bar are a snug fit but require you to drill 4 small holes to secure to the top rail. Assume this was not factory done as some folks may cut the top rail to length (I was considering it). The clamps hold everything rigid. This is intended mostly for a pair of kayaks. For the price, It is well worth it. I rarely give a 5 stare review. Would Love these rack manufacturers to consider the making the utili track mounts use on Tacos to be long enough to use on Frontiers.
