GearWrench Heavy-Duty Oil Filter Wrench 4-1/2" to 5-1/4" - 2321

I got this thinking it will fit my oil filter to my Chevy truck, but this is way too big. I started to send it back but I kept it. Now this is very well made, it’s very heavy duty for an oil filter to a bigger truck or you can use it for plumbing. It’s way worth the money. It do have some weight to it. You can use it, this thing has versatility you can go right or left with a flip over whatever you trying to loosen or tighten. I think the smaller one fit me most. It looks like it will hold on to the object, don’t think it will slide on ya. I haven’t found a use for it yet. My truck need something that’s really thin to get to my oil filter because of the cavity it sits in.

Does it's job well. Especially when you're standing in a pit look up at a filter and you don't have the leverage with a normal brand and handle type filter wrench, this thing shines.

I'm a diesel service tech at a large shop. This filter wrench works just fine 99% of the time. The other 1% of the time it slips and you end up punching an engine block or a framerail. Only 4 stars because it wouldn't have been so hard to put some grips on the inside diameter of the wrench. Also the wrench likes to hang up on its own rivets sometimes and thats a bit of a pain in tight places. These work good but could be refined to be a bit more user friendly. Very strong. I use mine with a 1/2 Matco breaker bar and a 12" ratchet.

That's the right size for the fuel and oil filter on the ISX 15. By the way, I received it faster than supposed. Two days ahead actually. I recommend GW tool for those who needs good tools for their garage.
