No, it is not bitter. I purchased to use in Ramos Fizzes (a drink). Can be used many ways. Enjoy it. Plus, it is in a glass bottle not plastic so it doesn't lose the scent or flavor.

Q: Has anyone ever tried using this product as a face toner/tonic? i.e. facial beauty regimen?

Yes, I use it as a toner, I added it to a spray bottle and spray all over even on my hair it smells great!
