This was exactly what I needed for an issue we have had in our house for years. We have a door that leads to a lower level of the house. Most of the time that door stays closed. However, there are times when we are going up and down frequently and need that door to stay open. The door will not stay open on its own. This item is perfect for attaching to the door knob of the nearby closet and the connecting door. Problem solved! See pictures above, the door stays open when needed and other times both ends fit over one knob. The rope is thick and sturdy, the loops fit over a variety of handles and stay in place. It will definitely work as designed, but it also works for my purposes. I am so thrilled to find this item! It looks so much better than the braided yarn I was using to fix the issue.

One of the ends fell apart right away, didn't even last a half an hour.The ends seem to just cheaply glued on.

Excellent product that meets a need I didn't know I had, in an elegant way. I live in an older drafty house with cheap flimsy doors, which sometimes BANG shut when I leave them open to let air circulate in warmer seasons. This stops the banging. It's simple but thoughtfully designed—just the right length and pleasant to touch.

I liked it a lot but the only slight problem is its just a bit too big. Length wise and also loops for the door handles. Otherwise brilliant idea.

Well, it works as a door stopper. We've been using cheap bungee ropes to hold our patio doors open during the summer months, but this is a nicer alternative. It's around 60cm long and the loops fit easily over door handles etc. I'm not entirely sure why there's fluffy bits on the rope, but it does make it look slightly different. At just under £6 at the time of ordering, the price is about right for what it is.
