Kindfolk Yoga Mat Backpack Two Straps Patterned Canvas

I needed a yoga mat bag that was safe to use while riding my bicycle back and forth to the studio. The long sling style bags were dangerous because they would always slide around and get in the way while I was riding. I tried a backpack style vertical mat bag, but I couldn't sit on my bike seat. I tried a backpack style horizontal yoga mat bag by Addidas, but the bag was super wide for my petite frame. Other yoga mat bags I found were very cheaply made and/or heavy. As you can tell, I tested MANY MANY MANY yoga mat bags and I am happy to share that I finally found a keeper! The size of the Kindfolk bag is perfect -- it's lightweight and has practical compartments. The adjustable straps at the bottom securely hold my mat in place with even distribution. Also, because the mat is exposed outside of the bag it gets aired out. The backpack style stays in place and is safe to use when riding my bike or walking (which is most important). Also, the Celestial pattern is cool because the multi jewel tones go with any mat color or outfit.

This is the best yoga bag I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few. The design is so cool and I love the ease of just attaching my yoga bag. I am a yoga teacher and can fit all the essentials I need for class in the bag and then have my yoga mat right there with the essentials. The best part is that the proceeds go to a worthy cause. If you are looking for a fashionable way to carry your yoga mat without one of those really big bags try it. The Seller is awesome too.

So I don't have a car and I walk everywhere or I ride the bus. Well I also take a yoga class at my college and still have classes after so it's really convinent for that there's plenty of room in the bag for my water, and binder(s) and I don't have to worry about forgetting my mat somewhere. The only downsideis sometimes you bump into stuff because of the width of the mat, but looking at the design that's to be expected. I just carry the bag sideways by hand when I'm going through narrow passages or down the bus isle.

The backpack is smaller in person, and my Manduka Pro mat sticks out too far on each side. I bike to my yoga classes during warmer months, and I’m afraid that if I needed to drop by my local grocery store after class that I’d be knocking all kinds of products off the shelves with my mat sticking out. My Manduka Prolite mat didn’t stick out quite as much, but I want the option to take my pro with me since it’s thicker and feels nicer for my knees.Also, when I purchased this backpack, it said free returns, but during the return process, the only option that was free was taking it to a UPS store which I don’t have near me. Amazon is now charging me $6.99 to print my own label and send it back at my local UPS drop off location. That was very deceiving of them.

There is no laptop sleeve on this product. The feature should be removed, as it is false information. The bag is cute/attractive, but that feature is missing. The main interior compartment is simply the main compartment. Inside that is a medium-sized non-zippered pocket that might be big enough for a small tablet, but is definitely not for a laptop. The lack of a laptop sleeve is the main disappointment for me. Very cute, but not as functional as I thought it would be. Also, if one of the side pockets was just an open mesh pocket, that would be helpful for travelers. I placed a strap inside the front zippered outside pocket and fit 2 blocks inside the main compartment, which left a little bit of room for my laptop. But the laptop is unprotected around the edges without an actual "laptop sleeve."

I LOVE THIS BAG. I bought this bag for a trip to Maine where I explored the city of Portland for 12 hours a day, hiked, and got to experience some of the yoga studios in the area. This bag was perfect. It was comfortable to wear and fit everything I needed. I was worried about having it as a carry-on item (with mat attached) on my flight, but it fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. I also got tons of compliments :) I’m looking forward to many more trips with this as my companion!

Its a great bag however the laptop pocket is extremly small... it could have been bigger . My mac book does not fit .. maybe they should advice its for a mini laptop.
