Definitely the best beard dye I’ve used. I used to use Just For Men but since they changed the formula about 6 years ago it just burns my skin. I’ve tried others. Grizzly Mountain beard dye works quite well but takes ages. I have to soften the beard with one powder for 20 minutes, then use the other powder for 30-40 minutes. It often just looks green so then I have to repeat the process all over again. Simpler Hair Colour is quite harsh on the skin and irritates/burns but nowhere near as much as Just For Men. The two solutions have to be mixed and used straightaway but they’re in large bottles and can’t be stored once mixed so I end up wasting 80-90% of it. I have a short beard so I need to dye it every 4-5 days. This stuff is brilliant! 5 minutes for the 1st solution. 10 minutes for the 2nd solution. Use the brush with a bit of water to gently dilute the line between your bare skin and beard so it doesn’t stain the skin (takes practice). Wash off and you’re done. Absolutely zero discomfort, sensitivity or burning. Covers really well. Still looks natural. Lasts longer than any other beard dye I’ve used. A lot cheaper than most other dyes.

If you want an embarrassing Purple beard, then go ahead and buy Herb For Men. Not only is it very expensive, but a total waste of money! I had a darkish brown beard with quite a few grey hairs in it, so I tried this product a few times, following the instructions to the T. But ended up with people laughing at me, as I had a Purple beard; especially when you go out on the bright sunlight. Ridiculous rubbish! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I had high hopes of using this product, yes as many have said below your beard goes purple however after a couple of attempts I managed to just about get it to black, had to leave the dye in for 20 mins on the second attempt. Would I buy again yes as there was not any irritation to my skin. Guess you leave in longer and then undertake touch up with beard filler pen. This dye is pretty expensive so will consider to buy more when the price falls

I’m someone who used just for men from age 26 until 29 with amazing results until it started to burn leaving my face blistering and weeping and red and itchy for two weeks after. I am now 39 and have tried other products but the same thing happens so have not used any dye on my beard for ten years. Because my beard looks terrible multi coloured I used touch up pens but the hair would clump and wouldn’t look natural until yesterday I ordered herb beard dye and I’ve used it on stubble on my face with no reaction and the colour looks natural I am now going to stock up now I no longer want beard pens. Now I can use beard oil because I only need to dye once a week or as needed. Like I said I haven’t used no dye on my beard for ten years because of the reactions and I was terrified I’d end up burnt and have to go work but this worked amazing.

Not real black

Don't bother wasting your money on this product if you have grey whiskers in your beard. It does not dye the grey black. It leaves it looking blue. OK if you are going to a fancy dress as a clown. It does wash out well with only some skin staining. I had slight skin irritation, nothing like as much as from Just for Men dye.

I tried Black Herb for men and it gave me a purple tint after two days. The brown version has not given me a purple tint after 24hrs and it's doesn't look bad.

Suffered really bad irritation from the major brand of moustache and beard dye. Tried this "Herb For Men" product and what a difference. No unpleasant itching, stinging and burning sensations. Additionally, the product does exactly as intended, is easy to use, and the kit provides enough dye for several applications.
