1st class product. Very good price.
As described. Good stiff pick with excellent grip.

Great value pick giving good tone
The pick is exactly the same size as the Bluechip CT model. It produces to me the same tone as my Bluechip pic’s although the feel is different and I don’t find them quite as secure to hold. Having recently lost a Bluechip at a gig (and got paid less than a replacement) I bought a pack of 3 Pimetone’s for spare/practice etc and definitely recommend them. I may well only buy these in future.

Suit me.
I play Dreadnought guitars with these large triangle picks. I thought they would be too big, but they're fine. The first picks I have owned that stay put in my finger grip.

Great plectruim
Great plectrum for a mandolin. I have bought all the sizes and shapes and my favourite is the standard 2.5mm, but maybe different.

Great value pics
I love these Primetone pics, these are the smooth version, I have the other version but find these excellent as I don’t have a problem with slipping.

Natural tone, feels nice to hold.
Great for clean articulation with a similar tone to nail. Easy sweeping between strings due to hand finishing.

Great acoustics tone
Always used lighter picks but these certainly add a lot more tone to my acoustic playing. They take a while to get use too - just a matter of learning to play to play little lighter.

Useless for left handed players! Should be stated in description.
Be aware, as it's not clear or obvious - the edges of these picks are angled on only one edge for each side. The angled edge is on the correct edge for the angle of attack for right handed players only - not left handed players. You'll have to look hard at the photo and do some heavy thinking in 3 dimensions to see why this is the case. Shame, as they seem to be well made, although extortionately priced for what they are.

These are great for a beginning mandolin player. They are grippy on both sides, well made, durable, and make a great tone. I noticed a difference working with these than the other picks I tried. I'm not yet good enough to justify getting a Blue Chip, but wanted something more fun to use with better grip than the cheapie ones from the music store. These fit the bill. Definitely recommend.

I like the feel/grip and sound of the picks. They definitely catch and release the strings more predictably than most. The sound is mellow and fairly dark. For my taste they’re great for rhythm playing but when playing melodies they don’t produce a clean cutting tone. For most types of playing they’re great, particularly at their price point. For those looking for a Blue Chip-like pick these aren’t them. If I want a clear clean tone and a pick that allows me to play faster and smoother than any other pick I’ll always grab my TAD40 or 50 and leave the Primetones at home. "For those looking for a Blue Chip-like pick these aren’t them." OK, so I may very well be wrong. I just got done playing a bluegrass set on my D-18 with a new set of Martin Retro Bluegrass strings using a 1.4mm version of this pick - the guitar sounded amazing and keeping tempo was no more effort than a BC pick. Depending on a person's taste and gear setup, the Primetone may meet all your needs. Clearly at a more budget friendly price too!
