Highly recommend this book 📖
This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in UX design or looking to level their workflow with design thinking principles. The chapters are well-structured and easy to follow. It’s quite simple to read and avoids complex jargon.One of the best part about this book is that the author brings in his perspective and knowledge working as a UX Designer. I really like the part where he mentions on having a growth mindset which is pretty crucial when breaking into a new field.The author emphasises the importance of understanding users needs and motivations, and provides clear instructions of conducting user research, creating personas, defining user journeys and so on. Empathising with the user is the foundations of UX design and the author has done a commendable job in demonstrating that.Overall, I’d highly recommended this book to anyone starting of or looking to improve in their UX design skills 😊👌🏻

A great intro to UX design
The book is very accessible and, as a complete beginner, I found it an excellent introduction to UX design. The author takes a very practical approach to his explanations, and by explaining design processes and using plenty of examples, he really brought the subject to life. I think it could also be a useful read for someone considering a career in UX design or related fields to get an idea as to what to expect. Well done!

Just what I needed!
This book is an excellent guide to UX design! I am currently finishing off my degree in IT, and my last project heavily focused on UX design, so I saw this book and thought it might be helpful. I was so right! The author lays out the perfect guide to understanding and getting started with UX design concepts. He gives a lifecycle which breaks down the tasks of a successful UX design project into manageable stages that keep you right from start to finish. I also found the scenarios and demonstration very helpful and aided the content and my learning very well. I will definitely be referring to this book when working on my project!

Great introduction to design thinking and UX
I’ve heard a lot about UX and Design Thinking and wanted to know more about it and how it might help me in my own projects. This book was a very useful introduction for complete beginners. It explained the concept in easy to understand terms and laid out how to apply design thinking to a project with some simple examples that brought it to life for the reader. This is a great foundation book, with additional guidance and further reading on how to take your career one step further. It neatly lays out the 5 essential steps to design thinking, and the core principles of UX design as well as providing a useful explanation of the interconnectedness and differences between UX and UI. It would be good to have a few more examples of careers in UX design, but that may be material for another book.

Detailed Overview
Excellent overview of what design thinking is. The author does a wonderful job of explaining the importance of both UX & UI. The author definitely knows his stuff and does a great job using relevant business examples that show the importance and implementation of design thinking when bringing their products to the world.As a design thinking novice I have learned a great deal from this book.
