The Saga of the Mysterious Buttons
I am not sure how or why, but the buttons do not behave as expected based on the user guide: specifically the buttons for Charge, Check Voltage and Recondition. This causes random pressing of the above buttons in search of the relevant information. Multiple Choice Test: A. Are the buttons labelled incorrectly? B. Am I not following the User Guide / Manual Instructions? C. Is the User Guide Incorrect? D. Is the Battery Charge Haunted? E. All of the above....

Easy to use.
Updated on 10/25/2023: the screen has suddenly dead. The unit is no long working. Waste of money.Such a lightweight however well form battery charger. It nearly feels like a vacant plastic case, yet there's a ton of incredible usefulness incorporated into this gadget. I fortunately haven't run into any drained battery circumstances since buying this, yet I had the option to completely test it out by associating it to my vehicle and going through every one of the elements. Turning on charging is truly simple. All I needed to do was associate it to the leads on my vehicle battery, and press the charge button and afterward it dealt with all the other things via naturally accusing of the right amperage. At the point when it distinguished the battery was completely energized, it went into a reserve mode where it ceaselessly checked the battery and would gradually charge it just when required. This charger likewise has a decent alternator really look at include. I'm not precisely certain what it is checking, however I ran the alternator check both with no heap and with load and after only a couple of seconds the outcomes returned on the screen that the alternator is great. This might prove to be useful for investigating later on. The main component I didn't try out was the battery reconditioning, yet it's perfect to realize this element is accessible when I want it. I'd suggest this. It's constructed well, has pleasant elements, and is still truly lightweight and compact. Appears to me functioning admirably up to this point. One thing that is somewhat odd is it defaults to AGM setting when initially fueled up so when I had it on a more seasoned lead-corrosive a few times I needed to roll out the improvement. It very well might be client mistake and might conceivably be tended to in set up defaults. Generally, respectable charger. Will turn over a motor when the battery is drained. No on a diesel truck except for a vehicle no issue. Works perfectly. I utilized it test and leap off my neighbors vehicle battery. The battery charger is lightweight, simple to store and extraordinary to carry on travels or just to keep in your vehicle to assist abandoned drivers. The result is awesome and it's extremely simple to deal with. Charger has Driven Screen, one touch works, a lodging case for strings and cinches, and works with wet, gel, and AGM batteries. The guidance manual was somewhat missing for fledglings, any other way, a magnificent item to have at home or to keep up with in your vehicles, RVs or in a shop. This is a good little charger. Also, when I say little I mean little its not huge by any means and is very light weight. I genuinely deducted a star for that. I've had a ton of chargers and worked with bunches of chargers and generally the higher amp chargers are heavier in light of the fact that they have bigger capacitors a bigger transformer/voltage minimizer and bigger all that to deal with the additional power being put through it. Up to this point this has worked perfectly however I'm not sold on the life span of it yet. It has no issue hopping my old Silverado with a 5.7 liter v8, and it will hop my grass trimmer which is very much an accomplishment as a matter of fact. Most leap starters and hop battery packs cant kick that thing off yet this did it absent a lot of fight. My significant other likes to utilize this one in view of the weight contrast its simple for her to deal with.

Exactly what I needed
Exactly what I needed. We are using it temporarily on a Genie lift that has a faulty internal charger. It’s been a life saver

Maybe too clever...
The media could not be loaded. Maybe too clever...I saw this charger, its features and had to give it a try. Here's what I like:- It's lightweight and easy to store.- Cable storage is good - all the cables fit into a cavity in the back, and the clamps clamp into holders on the side.- The readout is clear in all the lighting conditions I encountered.- All of the voltage readings and percentages appeared correct when compared to an older DieHard charger I've been using.- When charging batteries, the unit provides a high charge (usually around 2 to 8 amps) until the battery is charged. When it hits that level, the charger steps down to a trickle charge for maintenance. If the unit finds an issue with the battery, it will try to "recondition" the battery by sending pulses that are supposed to dissipate plate sulphating.- I have no vehicles with bad charging systems, and the CAT gave a passing grade to all of them.- The manual is fairly complete with explanations of each feature, and instructions on how to use those features. Some comments...- For motorcycles, the clamps are way too large.- The clamps have no insulation - they have a light coat of paint.- One of my motorcycle batteries was at 11.2 VDC. When I put this charger on it, it would try charge it for about a minute, and then shift to "recondition mode". This didn't surprise me, but after letting it recondition for 2 days, the battery was no better off. I put my old DieHard charger on it, it charged in an hour. I put the CAT back on it, and it shifted almost immediately to a maintenance charge, and all was well. I have several questionable batteries - it was unable to breathe new life into any of them.- A great feature would be the ability to detect and charge solid state batteries. My conclusion is that if your batteries don't have a major issue, this charger will charge them and maintain that charge. It'll switch from a deep charge to a maintenance charge automatically, which is nice. The big feature for this charger that I saw was the reconditioning feature, which didn't work for me. In fact, the feature got in the way of charging one my batteries - so maybe it's a bit too clever.
