Says no batteries required, but needs to be hooked up to an existing battery, right? If so, can it be hooked up to group 24 gel powerchair batteries?

No this is a 12 volt light, you would have to find a way to use section of you batteries that would produce only 12 volts. This is a bright light and may drain your batteries quickly if used without a switch. The mis match in power drain on one group of batteries will cause charging problems, and shorten the life of the entire group of batteries.

Fuse requirement? I plan to install these on equipment that require different voltages, eg. 12v, 36v, and 48v. What are the fuse requirements?
