We have teens and they seem to love participating in board games with their peers. I think that these are great for the price we pay, and the quality is great. The age group does not seem to apply here, and we all have had a great time playing them. It was easy instructions and was easy to learn to play. We keep all of our games in a large storage cabinet, and this fits in so perfectly so i would say that the storage capacity is perfect.

This was a Christmas gift for my 13 year old son, but it would suit younger players too. It is much simpler to play than "real" monopoly, having fewer spaces on the board and less complicated rules. We played it as a family with me (45), my daughter (16 and 10), and my sons (13 and 11). Everyone could understand, but it was still competitive enough that the older kids did not get bored. I love that Bowser circles the board and can mess up players or take their money. The one drawback is that if you get too far behind in coins, it seems impossible to catch up. There is a rule that if you land on an available property, you HAVE to buy it. Depending on how you roll, this can use up all your money early on. Then you can't pay rent, have to mortgage your properties, and can't collect rent to pay them off. Still, it is fun to play.

This is a fun non-traditional variant of Monopoly. When I bought it I thought it was just a themed-variant of the original game, but there are different rules and gameplay which makes it a little funner (or just more complicated, depending on your perspective). Overall, it's of good design and might not take quite as long to finish as the original Monopoly game. It's pretty standard board game size and quality, so it'll fit in a closet with other board games. I'd recommend it if you have young-ish kids that love Mario. Probably a pass otherwise.
