Yes, it's fishy, but it's oh so worth it!
Alright. We stayed away from whole milk formulas because the first one we gave our baby was horrible. I won't mention the brand, but it's a really good organic one that checks all the boxes in terms of healthy and safe. However, as a newborn that formula was just too strong for my baby to handle. Her poop became green and she broke out in bumps all over her body, not to mention the spit ups and fussiness. Anyways, that was it. I switched over to a hypoallergenic formula and our baby got much much better. Fast forward today 4 months later and I learned about Serenity and how it uses A2 dairy. All other formulas pretty much uses A1. I thought that was interesting so I decided to try Serenity, especially since it's ingredients are really good plus I watched lots of interviews with the founders, and their story is so epic. They really care about the ingredients and kids. Also no harmful seed oils. Also don't have to worry about high levels of heavy metals like other formulas. I decided to give serenity a try, even though I was still highly skeptical and wondering if I made the right choice. After all, we were traumatized by "whole milk" formulas. Serenity is a whole milk formula but with A2 not A1. Anyways the formula came, and like everyone else said it smelled fishy as heck. I mean wow. It smells fishy and nasty. However, we know it's good. Our high quality hypoallergenic European formula also smelled fishy. But again we wanted to change the formula because the european ones still use synthetic folic acid and seed oils. Long story short, we had to wean our baby onto the new formula. She was fussy at first a little bit. We started with 20% serenity and 80% breastmilk for a few days. Then 30% formula and 70% breastmilk for the 3rd day. And now we are doing about 40-50% serenity. Each day, our baby is getting better and just today she drank a bottle of 100% serenity with no problem. The smell did not deter our baby. And the fishy smell isn't because it's gone bad fyi... the fishy smell is good. It means it has good omega's in them. Anywho, Serenity is not causing any issues like the other whole milk formula did, so A2 definitely does make a difference, at least for our baby. She's sleeping peacefully as I write this review. So it's definitely worth checking out! I will be purchasing their foods too when our baby is old enough. Great company.

Tastes and smells terrible
This formula is terrible. It smelled and tasted so gamy that I gaged. I couldn’t feed this to my child, It’s nauseating and unfortunately couldn’t retune the item either. What a shame and waste of money. I really wanted to like this brand, but I’ve tried several of their pouches as well and haven’t found one that tastes good or that my child will eat. I didn’t think I’d have the same issue with the formula, but I guess I was wrong.

Happy Mom feeding her newborn!
I waited to write this honest review until I finished my first 6-pack, and I am SO disheartened by the amount of bad reviews for this product!!! I used Similac for my first daughter who is now 4 years old and thriving - but that's because I've also given her Cod Liver Oil, Zinc/Copper Liquid & other vitamins since she was 6 months old. I knew the seed oils (soy & canola especially) were not optimal for her nutrition, but I could only afford Similac. Did Similac do the job? Yes. Is my 4 year old ok? Yes. But here's the main difference between her and newborn born in February! I will say that for my baby, the 6-pack lasts about 6-8 weeks. I'm blessed to be able to afford a CLEAN formula like this! She is only 1 month and in 3 month clothing, her poop is mustard yellow (as if she were breastfed, but she's not!), and my first child grew VERY slowly. She was in clothing sizes month by month. My 2nd child, purely drinking this formula, is fitting 2-3 months ahead and the pediatrician is ASTOUNDED by her development. I am not surprised, this product is clean, and the reason it smells like fish is because they have high quality ingredients. My 4 year old daughter has Cod Liver Oil (NutraPro) every morning, and it smells like this! So I know my baby is getting the best of the best. I think some parents just have a lack of understanding about nutrition and can't appreciate this for what it is. But I wanted to write this review to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRODUCT! From a momma who invests in her child's health/future, this is everything to me. God bless you! Also - I know this says 12+ months, but I've been using it with my newborn since Day 5, she's 5 weeks tomorrow and is thriving!

Best formula for 1 year +?
Since baby formula for 1+ year old kids are not regulated, it can be hard to tell what they put in there. After doing some research, I decided to go with this one. I switched my son to this after he turned one. I have to admit, it tastes horrible with a metallic after taste. However, breast milk has a similar taste with the same metallic after taste. In any case, my son loves it. He drinks a 10oz bottle before nap time and bedtime.

It works well
I had to reluctantly switch to formula since I’m pregnant, the baby formulas full of seed oils made her sick, this works really well with her, doesn’t get half as much foam or bubbles, it actually looks like milk and my baby is good with it. It does smell bad I won’t lie, but it’s worth it to not have seed oils for my baby. It does work with babies even though it’s a “toddler” formula, that’s just because the government demands seed oils in baby formulas so don’t hesitate to try for your baby

Horrible taste
I really wanted to love this formula bcs of good ingredients. But that is something horrible. We love fish in our house, I have cod liver oil every day, but smell you feel after opening can and taste is really horrible! I can’t believe they are selling this, especially after so many bad reviews. They need to change ingredients, because this really is unbearable.

...
Absolutely smells and tastes a little fishy. But my baby loves it. And if the ingredients are as top quality as they claim, I will continue to buy.
