As a hairstylist with a very strong focus on men’s hair for over 20 years, I applaud the guys at Highland for what they are doing. A product line with quality and minimal ingredients we can actually read and understand. This clay is what I have always wanted!! Sure you’ll see some reviews talking about how there isn’t enough hold or it’s not even a medium hold when it says it’s strong hold on the package, but you have to understand, when a product is this clean, strong hold isn’t going to feel like the strong hold in the garbage products most of us have used. This is a strong hold, in terms of keeping your best natural look all day. Something you can work into place, then continuously run your hands through all day and it still looks great. The men’s clay from Davines does a wonderful job at this too, but there’s something about the finish of this product that literally brings out such a healthy natural look. Not shiny either and definitely does not give you a wet look out of the shower. If you see that kind of review, the guy most likely has greasy hair, is using cheap conditioner, or perhaps applied too much. Don’t over use this product in your application, you get the best out it. Amazing work Highland, keep it up!

Was looking for a new pomade after my barber used a clay product on my hair and I liked it. This is very similar. Holds well – strong enough for my thinner, lighter hair. I slick it back but this doesn't have much of a shine, so I don't look like Gordon Gekko. It washes out great and easy to get off my hands with soap and water.

I love this stuff! I was using a product called K-gravel texture clay, which I liked a lot, but I think it's no longer made. So I was looking for a replacement. I tried some of the kinds you can find in the chain drug stores, but was not impressed. Tried this - and I like it even better than the K-gravel. It has great hold, but doesn't look stiff, and also a matte finish, which I like. And it smells nice, too. I'll be getting it again.

This is an okay product. It works well for the first hour or two but then makes my hair very greasy - it feels like I haven't washed it in weeks. It's fairly sticky, which is great, but again it only lasts 2-3 hours for me before making my hair greasy. It smells great - I'll give them that. I'm glad it works for others but it's just not right for me.

I like the texture and the smell, and I like how it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my hands. That being said, the hold is just ok and I think it’s really overpriced for how much you get.

It is a natural product that actually works, my favorite part is that it mixes well with your hair and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy throughout the day. Good performance overall

Couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I was skeptical at first due to my age and hair type (grey and heavy volume), and I recently cut about 2 inches off, so I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough length to work with. All my worries were put to bed after the first application. My hair stays exactly where I put it and if I want to mess it up and by mid day if I’m feeling froggy and want to move my part to the other side of my head, boom, it only takes about 4 seconds and it’s like I have a completely different hair style.
