Worst product
It does not have metal wire as shown and described. Result is, not even 24 hours and it is broken and of no use. Better products are available in market. May cost you some extra money. But go for them. This was a clear loot.

Been mounted on sliding fly screen security door for six months still going strong. Secured the screw mounts rather than the sticky pads after reading other reviews.

The indoor cat had learned to open the sliding screen door. This has enough pull/spring to it that he hasn't figured out how to get out. On one door I had to adjust where I put the hook on the door (had to move it to middle of top door rail instead of right near the spring box, to prevent rubbing on door jamb) but then it worked great. On another door I had to put a spacer block (scrap wood) behind the spring box (again to avoid rubbing on door jamb), but it's easy to rig it to fit if you're reasonably handy. I also like that it's very easy to unhook when I don't want the automatic closer attached. Very happy!
