It can run high-demand games in high-ultra graphics in 2k with no upgrades.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I originally chose this due to most mini PCs having a GPU memory limit issue. This PC comes with a radeon 890M which runs off the main system RAM rather than it's own dedicated ram (because its an iGPU). As it comes with 64gb DDR5 RAM the 890M makes a wonderful use of that with extra to spare. I currently use this PC to game and code. I can run 7 days to die (my favorite game, but super GPU-hungry as its not coded the best yet - Fun Pimps Devs) on high-ultra graphics as long as i change the resolution down to 2k (which on my monitor makes absolutely no difference). It runs smooth and has yet to lag. This PC is one of only about 3 with the discount ($999 after discount) that would be able to satisfy my needs for the price point. For those that need to know this PC did not come loaded with bloatware, malware, spyware, or viruses. Yes, I checked in multiple ways. It was also super carefully packed. I have ordered 7 mini PCs to date and this was packed more care and precision than all of the others put together.

Great product.
Great product. Installed and connected to my network in minutes. Plenty of ports and connectivity options. I still have to enable the AI component.

Works as expected, price point is fantastic
Great small form factor, lots of ports. I have a few weird things happen occasionally with Microsoft Teams requiring it to be re-installed, only happens on this PC, not on my Microsoft Surface Laptop. It's fast, small, lightweight so not difficult to transport if needed. I'm sure I'm not using it to its full extent. I execute Power BI data models and appreciate the extra RAM and processing capabilities.

Using the OcuLink port can be very frustrating.
The computer runs very smoothly; I haven't had any problems connecting anything. It's just a huge hassle using OcuLink; it's not simply plug and play. I've been writing to technical support to, They've been quick to resolve issues, although that's a waste of time if you want to use it quickly. I don't know if the problem is with the computer or Windows, but it's very frustrating. I want to use the Oculink; I've been in this process for a week and I still haven't been able to, although I don't dedicate all day to it.

Great mini pc desktop replacement
Great computer, this replaced my old tower pc. This thing can run pretty much anything you want to throw at it. It can run most games including AAA games but you may need to play at 1080 and lower your games to medium or low depending on the game

AI X1 PRO by MINISFIRUM Runs great... reasonable performance with first person shooters.
Edit: there is a setting in BIOS which can, and should, be changed. I guess it limit's the processing power of the unit... seems odd. Switching it to performance mode will improve the gaming capability... I'm working with the 64GB version, also. If I knew then... what I know now... Its performance, now, is not overwhelming... but, it does what it's supposed to. Get the 96GB version. I'm correcting my prior review, below. Sorry, if someone is using the 64gb version of ai x1 pro... and saying it's running games smoothly, they are utilizing an egpu to get that result. igpu performance can be improved by dedicating some portion of ram. I have tweeked settings for performance, so... hmm. Does not seem at all like a gaming pc to myself. Can't speak for the 96gb version. Otherwise, it's great...but external gpus are rather expensive... disappointment for my uses.

I don't see any signficant speed improvements from my old Mac Intel. I will need to find other optimizations options for local vector DB usage. It is useless without an external GPU for local inference usage as it default to the CPU using Ollama and will not suffice for large data embedding jobs. I was expecting the onboard CPU to be compatible, but it's not. Moreover, the processor cannot be replace by a more performant one. At close to 2.5K CND including the external GPU, it's probalby more afffordable in the long run to buy a traditional PC tour. A more expandable PC would allow more upgrade facilities without beeing much more expansive.
