Commonwealth BasketBasketry Sea Grass #3 4.5mmX5mm 1lb Coil-Approximately 210'

Used to make a reptile "Climbing frame" out of natural materials. Its fab. a little tough to do knots with, but kind of expected.

I bought this seagrass product again, expecting the same quality as before, but was extremely disappointed. The seagrass arrived frayed, unevenly woven, and with loose ends sticking out. It started unraveling quickly, making it almost unusable. I’ve attached photos to show the poor condition on arrival and the rapid wear and tear. This drastic decline in quality is unacceptable. I won’t be purchasing this product again and advise others to look for better alternatives.

This is what I wanted - it's a tricky material to work with.

Haven’t used it yet, but it looks fine. Will be to make new top for footstool.

poor quality, a lot thinner in a lot of places, well below the 4.5mm min in the spec. I had to cut out the thin pieces and knot it in a lot of places. Susequently I had not enough to cover a very small stool, that was a present for my wife, and had to order another lot of seagrass to complete my project. this second order was of the same poor quality.

Be aware that the product does not match the image. 1 ply received but 2 ply pictured in the image.

The sea grass had numerous weak connections in it so I finished up Knotting it more than should have had to.
