1% Piroctone Olamine Anti-Dandruff Shampoo With Salicylic Acid - Suitable For Seborrheic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Folliculitis & Itchy, Flaky, Sensitive Scalp & Hair - For Men & Women

I suffer from mild-moderate Psoriasis and I have super sensitive/reactive skin in general. I've never had any luck treating my plaque scales with regular medical grade shampoos because although they contain scientifically proven, effective ingredients to treat the condition (Salicylic Acid, Ketoconazole, Cetrimide etc etc) they also contain SLS and Parabens, which are known to cause issues in people with compromised skin. So, realistically you never really have a chance of it improving. Anyway, I have used this shampoo 3 times in total and so far I am blown away by the results. I'm not going to say it's made the problem completely disappear, but it has made a massive improvement in such a short time that it's noticeable. My itch/scratch cycle is nothing like it used to be; with other shampoos I was literally clawing at my head because they stripped all the natural oils away. My plaques are fading, less tight and sore, less angry looking in general. I have minimal amount of erm, scalp fall-out now (before it was really gross and sprinkled throughout my hair and on my clothes every time I moved... like I said, gross). I think this is made by a new(ish?) company so I'm really interested to see what they do in the future - crossing my fingers for them bringing out scalp treatments/serums, a 1% Salicylic Acid Shampoo and a SLS/Paraben free 2% Ketoconazole shampoo (I mean, hair growth stimulating and fungal nasties prevention, who doesn't want that?!). I'll be back for more in the mean time though. I never realised that getting rid of the SLS/Parabens would be such a game changer for me.

I have that sebbie whatsit dandruff. The thing with dandruff products is they can be very expensive and may not necessarily work. I have tried a couple and had no joy. What I especially like about Clever Soap is that this shampoo is very reasonably priced so its not going to break the bank and most importantly it works. Now I am at the stage where I do not have to use it every time I wash my hair. I've have just ordered my second bottle! This company do a good few products for various other skin conditions. I have used this shampoo every 3 days for just over 3 weeks now and it has worked very well for me. My dandruff and itchiness has reduced. it does lather pretty well. The downside it is a thin and runny formula which means you need to use a lot of it to cover your whole head and so I don't think the bottle will last as long as other thicker shampoos. so not the best value for money which is why I've only given 4 stars

Didn’t really do anything for seborrheic dermatitis though if you just have some mild dry or itchy skin could be good as a preventative

I have to use quite a lot to get my hair clean, and it doesn't lather very well. It's not great for oily scalps and has actually made my scalp itchier than before.

I developed a few sore itchy patches on my head after using a “thickening” shampoo! The itchiness was driving me crazy. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try before getting something from the GP. well, so glad I did!! Clever Soap has been amazing at clearing up the patches and controlling the itch. My hair also seems in better condition than before so it’s a win win! I would definitely recommend Clever Soap for any scalp issues.
