a decent amount for the price and well made. some pieces are a bit chewy, but if that's a problem, you shouldn't be eating jerky

Reminds me so much of home with the flavour, texture and consistency within the meat the Droëwors is also absolutely amazing, price is a little bit high but for me this is a delicacy and i dont mind the high price every now and then, you probably wont get any better then this unless you actually visit South africa !

Both the Droewors and the Biltong were fairly good, not the best but better than quite a few. The Droewors were nice but coated your mouth with fat/lard, I've not had any which do that before. Presumably that's just their recipe but would put me off buying these again. The Biltong was very thinly sliced and quite dry. That's more down to personal preference though as I prefer them about twice as thick and a with bit more moisture & fat.

I've been a regular purchaser of Smally's Biltong, but the recent batches have left me underwhelmed. The flavor hasn't lived up to the high standards I've come to expect, and on occasion, the slices have been excessively thin, deviating from the quality I've previously enjoyed.

When I lived in South Africa biltong and dry wors was part of our weekly shop. Absolutely loved it. I have tried a lot of the supermarket biltong here and it’s not very nice. But I ordered the above stuff with fingers crossed. Omg it’s amazing. It’s really really yummy. I will be ordering again but it’s quite expensive so will savour every mouthful .

The biltong is OK - not the best but average and spiced quite nice. There is much better out there from biltong boss, limpopo etc. The dry wors is literally inedible. I was sick after 1 stick and had to throw the rest away. Didn’t even risk giving it to my dog it was so fatty and bad. The one stick I did taste left lards of slick fat under my tongue. Utterly horrified and disgusting.
