Pity about the poor drawing style
Loving the TMNT IDW Comic Collection but volume 5 is sadly yet another example of the quality of drawing styles getting lower and lower with each volume. Nothing in my opinion is as well done as the first volume. I wish they could return to that same quality.

Volume 5 is another fantastic addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IDW series. The story continues to be engaging, full of action, humor, and strong character moments. The artwork remains detailed and vibrant, perfectly bringing the turtles’ world to life. It’s a must-have for collectors and fans who want to keep up with the ongoing adventures. This volume delivers both quality storytelling and great art.

A bit different to review this one compared to the other volumes. It's the first of two volumes where the interest curve dips a little bit because the main plot is sidelined for other zany hijinks. Time travel is an old and kind of worn-out trope, and here we get the whole spectrum of Turtles in Time. Dinosaurs, Pirates, even hypothetical future timelines. Old hat. BUT... The aforementioned dino-era tale introduces a lovable new character "Pepperoni", who (spoiler spoiler spoiler) will return in later volumes. Following that, the Pirate era shows the origin of Leatherhead, a till-now absent villain of the classic series / cartoons. So the sidetrack pays off, and overall still absolutely love the series.
