Great! But I am a clutz!
Okay, so I waited a few months from purchasing and assembling to write this review. I would prefer to give more of a 4.5 review than a 5/5, but this is how it is. Primarily because of personal issues. So, here it goes. So, I moved from standard basic framed bed to this. With that the previous “style” I had for my bed was compact and it was always the size of my mattress/box spring. There was nothing out of the ordinary sticking out from any side or edge of the frame. With all that said, moving to this bed frame has been a bit of a difference from the minimalistic basic setup I previously had. To start, the build was fairly simple and looks amazing for its price and quality. I still haven’t quite figured out what I want to store in all of its storage, but it has quite a lot of it. So, it’s like still shoving crap under your bed, but now it is extra hidden. So, storage space is great! I got rid of my box spring and basic frame in place for this to place my mattress on top. So, in reality, it was a great replacement to also receive “privatized” storage. Also, keeps our cats from under our bed, so we no longer have any impossible to grab kitties when hazardous storms roll through. The literal only issue I have with the bed is that the corners stick out quite a bit and really freaking hurt when you slam your shin or toes into the corners because you’re either too tired to recognize where you’re walking or are just a basic clutz. FYI the bed does NOT move when you slam into it with your shin or toes. So, basically, after years of a basic bed frame, this one is a learning curve. I’m sure I’ll learn eventually. So, really 5/5 for the actual product and 4/5 for me not able to learn the size of the frame when I am super tired. All in all, 4.5/5, but it’s all to do with my tired self learning how to tiredly walk around this bed frame in the pitch dark. Highly recommend and thank you for reading my TedTalk, lol

Very easy to assemble, worth the money!
EXTREMELY EASY to assemble! Its great saving space with the drawers it comes with! Makes NO sound even though its metal, the height is really good, quality is nice! The Design is nice and theres not really movement with the drawers.

Great value with smart storage
Great value with smart storage This platform bed frame was very easy to assemble and feels sturdy. The drawers underneath are a big plus and provide a lot of extra storage. They slide out smoothly, but the only downside is they can get caught on the bedspread, which makes it tricky to use the latch properly. The fabric around the frame is secure and looks nice, and my mattress fits perfectly on top. For the price, it’s a great buy. I’d definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind it doesn’t come with a headboard—I’ll be adding one soon.

Well designed metal frame, storage bed!
I ordered 2 of these frames for my kids, ages 5 and 8. I am beyond impressed with the quality and details put into the craftsmanship. The box was very well packaged, picture Tetris with perfectly cut foam blocks for spacers. The frame itself had perfectly drilled holes and appropriately spaced. The first frame my husband and I assembled together and the second frame I did by myself in about 1 hour. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Assembling was quick with a ratchet and 2 different sized hex bits. My only complaint/concern is that the faux leather is very soft and I’m not sure how well it will hold up to scratches. Only time will tell. This is a well designed, metal frame with faux leather end caps. The wire basket drawers will work perfectly for storing the kids’ extra bedding.

Very nice!
Very nice product. Extremely easy to put together. Even came with extra bolts, just in case. I put it together myself (retired female). It took me an hour or so, just taking my time. You do NOT need 2 people for assembly....now bringing it in from being delivered, maybe... LOL. The box weighs a bit, and it was destined for the 2nd floor, but easily solved...I just opened it downstairs and made several trips upstairs rather than trying to lug it all up in one go. The drawers are not attached to the unit...they just slide into place, and there's a clip they can slip into at the top of each drawer that keeps them from moving once pushed in. There's even slots at the head in case you want to attach a headboard. Not a big enough deal to deduct for this, but one of the stickers (a long one...all the other stickers were little round ones) didn't come all the way off. Not a huge deal. I'm sure I could get it all the way off if I messed with it, but I won't, as it ended up being hidden by the fabric panels. I put those "moving men" sliders under all of the floor contact points, so I can somewhat easily move the whole thing (if I ever want to) once the mattress is put on it. The box arrived a little torn in one of the corners, but nothing inside was effected. It was very well packed and protected. It would have been nice for it to arrive in two packages rather than one (much lighter that way), but maybe it would have been harder to pack it well, and might have cost more to do it that way.... Definitely recommend this product.

sturdy, good for storage
this bed was very easy to put together, was very stable, and has been very comfortable to sleep in over the past year now. if you are looking for something simple, sturdy, and useful for an otherwise overcrowded room i would recommend this bedframe. i’ve stored around 40 books, many antiques, and a few heavier objects and have not had any issues with the drawers being unstable. they’re infact very stable and very amazing for the price i paid. for 130$ i was expecting the bedframe to be flimsy but its held up a lot of weight so far.

Very sturdy if put together correctly, great price for included features vs assembly difficulty
Assembly does take some time and careful study of the instructions. Not all orientations are spelled out, some you have to extrapolate based on close examination of the drawings. Also, some parts you’re supposed to build two of before moving on, but the instructions don’t mention that. I build lego sets for fun so this felt right up my alley (also the other reviews here warn about some of the building pitfalls). Other than that the process itself was physically pretty easy, no need for any extra tools, the hex keys provided by the manufacturer are more than good enough to tighten the right amount by hand. Together with my girlfriend we finished within 2 hours, but probably could’ve done it alone if necessary. Once assembled the frame is much sturdier than the light frames and panels would make you think. There is no noise getting in or out of bed, no play or movement when getting on or off roughly, and my hefty body feels very supported in any sleeping position. Also a good height, works with or without a box spring. I actually like that the drawers are just wheeled on the floor, makes it easy to pull them out completely in case I need to get under the bed for any reason. You do get what you pay for with the wire drawers, but that saves on weight, and is easily fixed with some vinyl sheeting in case one is worried about dust or anything. Overall great budget option for an apartment with limited space and simple modern look.

Classic, practical, but lacking
Got this frame for a 19X11 (LxW) guest bedroom. The frames underbed storage was appealing because this "quaint" room lacks storage; besides a tiny closet. Which is fine for guests, but storage for clean sheets or random knickknacks is wanting. The metal frame, with no headboard and bowed wooden slats, is simple; classic. As I unpacked it, I was very pleased with how much care the manufacturer took to ensure nothing would get get damaged in transit. All peices are clearly labeled AND the manufacturer includes extra screws for any mishaps. (LOL) For the price & quality of materials, this is a reasonable bed frame. And upon completion, the draws are functional; even on carpet. So why do I find it lacking? The instructions for assembly were atrocious. Now, let me be clear here... this is NOT my first time putting together furniture with similar assembly directions. <> CONS <> ASSEMBLY: -> 100% JUST PICTURES; absolutely no written guidelines. ~~The pictures for assemble, repeate. [I understand WHY they did this, but the identical pics in THAT sequence, was illogical] -> UNCLEAR ORIENTATION: ~~ I originally assembled one part frame upside down, & another part backwards because there was no clear indicator that the "hook & Eye" (see pic) needed to face out. (Why out? See "pros") ~~ this caused me to have to disassemble everything & start over. <> PROS <> -> Quality materials: frame & hardware. -> Sturdy design: low noise when moving around, and actually pretty comfortable. -> Draws: underbed rollers to open & close actually work on carpet. AND the draws can be secured closed with a metal dowel that seats into the frame via a hook & eye.. Final thoughts: Would I recommend? >>Meh. Probably not. Would I buy again if I knew then what I know now? >>Mmmm-maybe... bc the quality is good. But because what should've took 1-2 hours took 3-4 (because of lack of clarity), I might've taken longer to research alternatives.
