Does this retain scent? For example for bath bomb wrapping

It has no sent. It is ment to wrap oil art in so the paint will not change color or react to it at all. I was shipping oil paintings and it was Recomemded.

Is this glassine paper safe on acrylic paintings?

no. There is no need to cover acrylic paintings except for storage and frame corners is usually enough. There are art boxes that you can buy. I see no purpose for glassine paper.

Will this help in storing framed artwork?

Yes. It will help protect the piece of art from accidental scratching. We use it as a protector (the layer of material closest to the artwork) when packing artwork for shipping.
