Dickies mens Fleece Lined Hooded Jacket

Just a great jacket

My 11 year old loves this jacket. Size small is a bit big, but works. 5' 4"It keeps him warm and dry on chilly rainy mornings. The sleeves aren't fleece lined so he can get it on and off easily in crowded hallways. I love that it's ripstop because the kids have to toss their belongings in a giant pile on the floor of their last class of the day and everything gets trampled.

The jacket's sleeves are a bit short but the rest of the lengths are good. The internal pocket is great to hide electronics or paper in from the rain and the fleece feels ok.The downsides include: The external pockets aren't very good at keeping your hands warm and occasionally get wet if you don't have dry hands or it rains hard and water gets in the pockets. The fleece only covers the internal lining for the torso and hood, not the sleeves so your arms might be cold. The way water seems to sit instead of run off, and once you get inside it's still dripping after a hard rain, so it feels like it repels most water but absorbs some.

bought this same coat 20 years ago have worn it every week since then. Gave it to my hisband weeks back because he needed it in rain and he kept it sI i had to buy a new one. Lol. Absolute must have

This jacket is exactly what I have been looking for for almost a year now! I purchased something similar from some other online retailer years ago and I wore it almost daily for 3 seasons of the year, for probably 5 or 6 years. The zipper finally broke and I could not find anything like it. I finally found this item. It's perfect. The original jacket I had was heavier, both the fleece lining and the outer nylon shell. That was okay, but I love this jacket. It seems just as warm (obviously I haven't worn it in the winter or fall yet), but it is so much lighter. You could wad it up into a small stuff sack or pack it into your go bag and it would take up almost no space! I'm thinking of buying 4 more for the family go bags!

I agree with Russef. The sleeves on this jacket are short compared to the sleeves on other Dickies jackets. It's like they use the same sleeve length on every size; it's odd, especially given the loose cut of this jacket. The rest of jacket is well made and works well to keep me warm in cool and/or windy weather. The sleeves don't have a fleece lining but do have a quilted lining that help keep them from restricting arm movement when worn over long sleeve base layers. While it is windproof, it's not waterproof. Don't expect to wear this in a down pour and stay dry underneath it.

The jacket seems well made and fits surprisingly well. At 5'11 and 175 lbs. a size Medium fits very well. The sleeve length is just right. The fleece lining makes for a warm light weight rain jacket.

This jacket is my second one. I literally wore my 1st jacket out. It’s good in all weather, rain, light warmth & wind breaker. Easy to clean.
