Great when it works (which is rare)
This system is great in many ways: multi-room, excellent temperature control (learns heating characteristics and adjusts accordingly), easy to use. But it’s unreliable. Or rather the Cloud based servers needed for remote control are unreliable. So if you want to be able to control heating from the app, you frequently can’t. This is true even when at home and connected to the same network.

Honeywell evohome is awesome!
Honeywell evohome is the ultimate in multi room heating controls. I bought ours from The EVOHOME Shop who trades on Amazon as 'The Smart Thermostat Shop'. Backup and support from this seller is amazing. If you want room by room heating controls for your home then this is it. We had Nest before and it is a great single zone thermostat, but cannot do multi room control. A friend recommend evohome as they had it fitted to their house. The Honeywell app is easy to use, maybe too easy as my 4 year old can change the settings. Currently there is nothing that rivals this system and gets 5 stars from me because of this.
