Great all-around knife.
Fantastic knife. This is a substantial knife, pretty much maxing out the idea of "pocket", but it's not so big as to be a pain. It's just sizeable and solid. Even with the larger, heavier blade, it still flips open single handed very smooth and easy. If it doesn't lock open when you first try it, just add a little flick of the wrist and it'll snap into place. Once open, it feels very secure, with no wobble at all. The handle is curved well and in my bigger hands, 3 fingers lock in. My pinky fits on the outside, but still comfortably. The jimping and shape of the back of the blade fits my thumb well and makes it an even more secure grip. The blade has a clean satin finish and is plenty sharp out of the box. It's size makes it more suitable for utility than delicate procedures, but it tapers to a nice point that would suffice for little things if necessary. This is a great camp knife. Held up higher on the grip and it's perfect for digging in, stripping bark, etc. A looser middle grip is great for slicing. Held toward the back, with a little swing and I used it to cut back pumpkin vines and other plant stems.

Very large, heavy, well made EDC pocket knife
This one is a real hand full. In true Eafengrow fashion, this knife is over built, heavy and extremely strong. It feels perfect in my hand. The action is not snappy, but very smooth. With a little practice, you can get the flipper to cleanly deploy the heavy blade without slinging it. The lock up is positive with no play and can be operated with only one hand. The blade is centered well and is very thick, contributing to both the strength and weight of the knife. The knife came very sharp and well lubed. It carries well in a pocket with the attached clip, however, I plan to acquire a sheath for it and remove the clip. Great value.

GREAT Bang for your Buck!
I have to agree with the other reviewer; this knife is astounding for so little money! The build quality and workmanship are excellent, it's HEAVY, it's STRONG, the blade deploys VERY smoothly, it locks up solidly, the knife is well balanced and feels good in your hand. It's also VERY sharp. My only complaint, and I hesitate to even mention this, is that on MY sample, the blade centering isn't great. To start this, some of the less expensive (note the I did NOT say "cheap") knives out there are assembled rather hastily. Because of the nature of the liner lock mechanism, the forces of the locking bar (inside the handle) presses on the blade ALL THE TIME, which if those forces are not compensated for can cause the blade to sit at an angle (meaning it's NOT centered). So, what do they DO about that? Well, if they use bronze washers at the pivot point, they normally use two different thicknesses; a thicker washer on the pivot point on the lockbar side and a thinner washer on the other side of the blade (or visa versa, depending on the design). This helps balance out the tendency of the blade (again, due to the lockbar) to sit at an angle. It also requires adjusting the pivot pin screw to that 'JUST RIGHT' amount of torque (to maintain smooth and rapid blade deployment), which is NOT a quick adjustment. I have NOT taken this knife apart yet (I have four or five other knives in the que already), but I suspect that the washers are reversed. I WILL be taking the knife apart and whatever I find out, I'll update this review. Other than that, it is a superb knife for so little money and I'm VERY surprised at the quality. In every sense if is a GREAT bang-for-the-buck knife!

Heavy is good, heavy is reliable.
This is the largest folding knife I've ever held. I've got fixed blade belt knives that are not this big, or this heavy. This is solid. It's well assembled, well machined, and did I mention it's big? There's lots of little touches that make it that much more better. For example, the liner lock. On initial glance it looks kinda thin. But that's just a trick of the light. The liner lock is substantial, and it only appears 'thin' because it was thoughtfully and very lightly scalloped to give a more solid and less shapr purchase when disengaging the lock. The knife locks solidly open, and you have to want to close it. I don't know enough metal chemistry to remark on the blade other than, well ground, well polished, and nicely sharpened. If you need a hard use knife, that folds up to carry on your belt or in a (very large) pocket, this is a blade for you.

Super good knife
Wow, this knife is well made, smooth action, the best ergonomic size and weight are perfect for me. This is more knife than I expected. Very sharp and a nice overall heft or size and weight. This is my new favorite knife. There's no lanyard fitting but you don't need one. Best action opening & closing ever!!!

Fantastic Knife
Charging only $27.99 for this knife is CRAZY to me, drastically underselling, this feels like at least a $75-$80 knife it’s big, sharp, heavy, smooth opening, G10 Handle Reinforced Steel blade, this thing is the real deal, honestly I would take this over a $300 Benchmades any day of the week, fantastic knife, very similar to the Ned Foss BEAST 4” knife which is even a slight step up from this which is saying a lot.

Heavy Duty EDC Folder
I recently purchased this Eafengrow Tactical folding knife as I was wanting an EDC with beefier parameters. I have a couple of rigid blade knives from this company and am impressed with the quality and dependability of their products at remarkable values. This folder is no exception. It is heavier than my other EDC knives being built with quality materials. The G10 handle is smooth and comfortable to handle. The ball bearing feature allows for quick deployment of the blade which locks in place firmly. I like the curve in the blade which give the blade more cutting edge. The blade was sharp from the manufacturer however, I put it to a sharpener and now it is razor sharp. I am well pleased with my purchase.
