My son chose this at the beginning of the six weeks holidays. He loves the design and the fact it has lights on! Super cool! And apparently really fast! However as a parent I love that it has been played with almost solidly for 4 weeks and nothing has broken. It’s easy to steer. The best bit is that it comes with two battery packs which can be charged by USB so I always have a back up for when it runs out. A fully charged battery lasts just under 2hours and it takes about 2.5 hours to charge fully. The usb has an indication light to let you know when it’s fully charged. As for value for money, it’s probably the most we’ve spent on a RC car as in past experience they always break which obviously isn’t great value for money. But if this one continues to please I couldn’t recommend highly enough! I’ll update post if I have any issues.

Very sturdy well made

The battery life is quite good and you get maximum power till the end. The problem is that it broke a few times. The first time it broke was about two weeks after I bought it, and the switch started to play up. We did fix that but then after that the steering broke and only really turned right, then afew days after it happend it was fixed. On that same day the steering started smoking but still worked.😕

I brought 2 cars, 1 was absolutely the fine. The 2nd only got 1 battery pack instead of 2. But didnt matter as it started smoking and completely non functional as soon as the pack was plugged in.

So got the rc car today and took it to a track and drove it couple of times it work greate and it’s fun Downside was steering was very sensitive but it was good Drove the car around the track and accidentally went in to a deep puddle and it suck the car but some how it’s still drive it went through 6 deep puddle and it survived best £40 I’ve ever spend

Credit where it's due, this is fast and the motor runs smoothly and quietly. However, it has a fundamental flaw; the steering operates either full left or full right, there is no progression in between these extremes and consequently it is hard to keep it under control, and in a straight line! This is compounded by the rubbish tyres offering little traction and a tendency to break traction from a standing or rolling start and not having the steering finesse to get it smoothly travelling straight again. My son simply couldn't get on with it. The front wheels are totally exposed to impacts too, inevitable when it basically rockets around at considerable speed with little control. I fear the steering assembly/axles etc wouldn't have survived long. A shame as it looks good but clearly all the money is in the motor and nothing else. It's a very expensive toy that sadly isn't much good...I'd avoid buying it if I were you.

I've been searching for a car like this for a long time. I'm 40 years old and searching a car for my kids (around 8) and had a view. A brands did not meet the expectations of what they were when I was a kid. This one does it all. It's quick (20 is good, I have one of 40 and kids can not handle the speed), the steering is working realy well and it keeps driving while there are bumps and grass. I've tried a cheaper a little smaller of this website but the stearing didn't meet my standards. If you want a good car search no more!
