I bought this to make Bolivian papas a la huancaina, having lived in S America, we always used the yellow chilis. It's so hard to get them, I bought this thinking it was a paste so I could add it in. It's not, more like a dipping sauce. However, it is really tasty. I agree with whoever said it has a mayonnaise and garlic taste and there isn't much heat but it is really nice nonetheless. If you're looking for a dip or condiment, this is for you. I think I'll buy it again with that in mind.

Tastes great, it's more mayonnaise than sauce if that makes sense. I didn't use as a marinade or for cooking as I thought, but it still tastes authentic.

I went to Peru in 2019 and loved the country and the food. It's so nice to add something like this to my cupboard for an authentic taste of South America. I used this to make Lomo Saltado for my family and they loved it!

This is a sauce that you can cook with, yet it it lacks the depth of flavour that I remember from Peruvian cuisine. I so wanted it to be better than it was for the price I paid. Its award winning, and probably that's because the flavour is unique to S America and has little to compare it with in Europe, but tbh, its not as good as it should be.

Sadly, the aji Amarillo content is so low that the mayonnaise and garlic flavour overpowers all taste. Good effort, but if you are looking for a genuine Peruvian flavour, in my opinion (I was born in Peru), this isn't.

It’s not hot or spicy... Could be done with a little more heat but at £4.50 it’s a little steep... Not sure if I’d buy again for the price but I recommend buying... It is a very nice Mayo...

Totally disappointed with this product, it is expensive for what it is. As a peruvian I thing that this product is nothing similar to our sauces taste, this product taste more like vinegar than amarillo chilli
