Overall happy with the purchase, but it leaves a thin layer behind, and can’t “scrape” well. Needs to be heavier or have a plow/lever/mechanism to allow better downward pressure

Forget the cheap homedepot, department store shovels. This thing is truly amazing. I had to wait 2 months just to use it and my family thought I was crazy wishing for snow. I felt like a kid outside today. Except I didnt make $5 to shovel someone else's walkway. But If I had this 40 years ago, I would have cleaned up!

I pulled the parts out of the box and they all went back in almost immediately. I read reviews and put too much faith in other users good experience with this pusher. It all boils down to the plastic blade and the TYPE OF SNOW I need to move. Heavy Sierra Nevada Sludge that would disable this Barbie Tool almost immediately. I would end up doing alot of pushing without moving much snow with this. A basic METAL snow pusher, which I already own, will work much more effectively. AND the vendor deducts the cost of return shipping to the purchaser.

I modified my shovel first before using it on my concrete driveway.
