This doll made my heart smile today. I was expecting her to have a more of a lighter skin tone with a yellowish undertone. I liked what I thought she was going to look like, but I'm much happier with the one I got. She's spectacular. Her hair is very long, soft and beautiful; that goes well with her tan complexion. She's wearing a beautiful houndstooth-print dress with matching blue elevator ankle boots, blue headband and yellowish earrings. She has the perfect look to go with her beauty salon. Despite the fact that I swapped her body to a mtm, I think this set is 100% durable, valuable for the money, and ready to be gifted to anyone who loves barbies. I recommend this doll to children and beyond.

My 11 year old daughter still continues to love Barbie, and was pretty thrilled to receive this. She's played with it pretty much every day since it arrived. Unfortunately, ours did arrive with the box damaged, and a gaping hole in it, so parts of the set were not included in ours. Other than the Barbie itself, the chair is one of the key parts, and ours was missing. This is your pretty standard Barbie set, which is great. Priced at $30, I feel it's priced actually quite well for what it was. In years past, I felt like Barbie sets like this were much more expensive, so it's a breath of fresh air to see something priced a little more in line with what I'd expect. I know we had questions, originally, if a Barbie doll actually was included, and, thankfully it was. Otherwise, you pretty much get what you'd expect for a hair stylist set. You have the desk, with drawers, and a holder for the hair dryer. The top part of the desk includes a mirror, and shelves for the various other hair accessories. Otherwise, you get a brush, tiara, rubber bands/holder, and a few other things like a cup, scrunchees, scissors, spray bottle, and such. The biggest thing about this set is that Barbie's hair actually will change color with the water. It's a pretty simple process. My daughter will bring everything into the bathroom, and use the sink there to help stylize Barbie's hair. The whole process is pretty easy and slick, and doesn't cause too much of a mess. Overall, my daughter is thrilled with this Barbie set. We wish we'd have received all the parts, but she's still happy nonetheless. For the price, it's been great, and is certainly a great option for those kids (or even adults) that love Barbie.

My young niece was thrilled with this Barbie doll hair salon set. The doll had on a really cute outfit, and the salon and accessories were really cute, too. She was excited to set it up immediately, and start styling her doll’s hair. She was also very excited by the Barbie’s hair highlights changing color. This gift was a hit, and if you need a gift for a Barbie fan, this is it!

I bought this Barbie for my granddaughter who wants to be a hairstylist. It was a big hit! The Barbie is beautiful, and my granddaughter loves the accessories.

Perfect birthday gift for my granddaughter. She played with it as soon as she opened it. Not sure if I would have paid the full price for it, but definitely worth the offer price.
