I overall color my hair blond. Professionally, I have my roots lifted from light brown to blond every 5 weeks or so. Tried lot of different conditioners. Most conditioners make your hair soft but leave a sort of greasy residue. Hi-Pro-Pac Hair mask is completely different. It does make your hair soft, but it infuses your hair with protein and does an amazing job improving texture, strength and shine to processed hair. Great stuff! Photo update after 6 months of use: I am a guy who lifts my mouse blond/brown hair toned to blond every 5 weeks. My hair used to be flat and crispy after all of the blond lifting. It was flat had no life to it. Wanted to update the review after long-term use. I use it daily. My hair is now soft, smooth, with shine and picks up some of my natural wave as my hair grows longer. It was horribly flat having zero depth or texture before I started using it. The picture probably doesn't do justice but have friends saying my hair finally looks healthy. This is my go-to always. I have long, thick, curly hair that loves to be unruly so I use diffused heat to dry it into submission. I also color it and regular conditioner is not usually enough. This is the best conditioning treatment that I have ever used, and I have tried a plethora. I started out with the very annoying packets since that's all the store had so I'm glad to have found these 8 oz bottles here on Amazon! It has definitely improved the texture, shine and over all health and appearance of my hair and I will continue to use it for as long as they make it.

After one use, I'm not sure this item is for me. After applying to hair for recommended time, hair feels less moisturized. I need a product that will leave hair feeling strong while locking in moisture. This product doesn't seem to do this at all.

I've been buying this for years at Walmart, but they only sell it in the little single-use packets. This 2-bottle deal is so much more convenient and economical. My hair is thick, coarse and color treated. Tangles easily. I need a conditioner that moisturizes deeply and detangles. This does both things, and is inexpensive. Glad to find this deal on Amazon.

Buy it! Has been so good for me and my kids hair. We all have curly hair but I wear mine straight and one cold has thin and one child has thick coarse hair and is worked really well for all of us. My hair seems so much thicker and stronger right away. And shinier. It was looking dull and too flat against my head in pictures so I've been trying products out , even expensive ones, and what has worked best? Herbal essence shampoo and conditioner and this product. Go figure.
