Motorcycle And Automotive All Metal Anti-Corrosion Spray Quart

Bought this product to treat a new mototrcycle, used it on various other applications around the workshop. Great prevention treatment I wouldn't be without a bottle in the garage.....

I ride year round in the UK commuting every day regardless of the weather and covering around 10,000miles/year. I've used ACF50 as a protectant on my bike for the last two winters and it does a great job of keeping rust away and maintaining all parts of the bike (except areas where you need grip e.g. tyres, seat, handlebars, footpegs, and brakes - keep it well away from those!). It will smoke off engine and exhaust areas when they get hot but seems to leave a protective film. I use a foam lance and then a decent brand car wash/wax to clean the bike and then apply a thin coating of ACF-50 - let it sit for a few minutes and the gently wipe it over. Seems to penetrate into the hard to reach places and the handy little spray bottle is great for squirting into hard to reach places - but definitely, cover your brake discs and tyres before spraying! Seems to remain in place through all weathers and has not been defeated by road salt (yet). As a result, I do not have to clean the bike so often during the winter which is great. Thoroughly recommended.

Obviously I don't know how effective this has been until the spring comes but I washed my bike and after a couple of days to let it dry, slathered this stuff on. I watched a couple of vids on you tube to see how the adults do it and if you put a small amount into the handy diffuser bottle and put that into a jug of hot water to help it flow it's a pretty painless process for application. It goes on like a thick WD40. You have to be careful with brakes of course. it seems to be a thick, wet looking coating that stays on whatever the weather. parts like pillion footrest hangers that are prone to grow a rusty coat on my bike have stayed pristine and clean looking despite some heavily salted road trips. And I didn't have to use all that much of it. I think it's definitely worth sticking on your bike.

Good product easy to apply

I liked using this liquid spray on formula better than the aerosol which can run out if gas and block the nozzle easily. Sprayed it all over my bike to protect it from road salt. Covered rusty bits well and protects. Brings bikeback to life on plastic trims. Safe in everything. Watch those brake pads!!

Have used this product on all my vehicles and it is a brilliant way to reduce rust on vehicle parts especially during scotish winters and with so much salt on the roads - highly recommended for cars, vans and motorcycles.
