This cat food is well worth the cost
I will tell you that I bought this for my older cat with a puny digestive system. She would not eat regular kibble regardless of the expense. Because I was feeding my two dogs raw freeze dried food and I was happy with that, I decided to try this as kind of a last resort. Wow! My little skinny kitty actually eats this. She seems to have more energy and is more perky. Her stools are well formed. The texture of the food is soft, so it is good for older cats and I can tell that her health has improved just by her parking us and disposition. l thank you Instinct and so does my Crumpy

Cricket Loves It
One of my cats has an issue in that she throws up a lot, and usually what she would throw up would be her dry cat food. I thought I would try this product because while she clearly loves dry food and wet food, I could not continue to feed her this or any similar dry food. She enjoys this food very much, it gives her a little bit of the “chew“ similar to some types of dry food, but it is easy for her to digest, and she enjoys it very much by eating every morsel I give to her every day. Yes, it’s costly and I call it her bougie food, but my girl loves it and she’s worth it.

Excellent!!! Now I subscribe & save for delivery.
I own a cat I treat like a queen. Only the well researched best for my little girl! The things I love about this product both the freeze dried and Raw/freeze dried kibble combo is: Nutrient density is off the charts compared to cooked, chemical treated/high-heat processed, ash containing, low cost, popular cat foods. No Ash!? Ash day after day, year after year is known to cause kidney failure, kidney disease, severe urinary track infections Cancer (bone, organ and blood) This product has 0% ash content. It’s Organic, Raw, Uncooked, organ dominate content, bioavailability and naturally processed.(to preserve the nutrients, hormones, digestive enzymes, organic/chelated vitamins, minerals, naturally occurring compounds vs. inorganic, chemical and undigestible, biologically unavailable vitamins, minerals and compounds.) The only problem I had was getting my girl to like the texture of freeze dried foods. Separate the freeze dried from the kibble. Use a little water in a measuring cup and soak them until the food is comparable to moist food and serve it. After about a week she started liking it. If you get the raw kibble/freeze dried separate them before soaking. Remember to, the food will decay faster when moistened so if you free-feed in days worth only serve1-2 days worth of food or your cat will likely get bad diarrhea, insatiable thirst, unusual behavior and stop eating completely. (Learned the hard way.) Do you and your cat a justice, try one bag. The behavioral and physical improvements, even on a young one like mine, caused my jaw to drop and mouth to open many times. Find out for yourselves!

My cat isnt crazy about these, but he is picky
I like the size and how they rehydrate. Kitty won't eat them dry and has to be in the right mood to eat them wet, so they last forever. I wish he liked them better. I still think it's a good product.

Is Instinct Using a Different Manufacturer for Amazon?
This is the second time I’ve bought these (chicken) from Amazon. Neither time my cats wouldn’t eat them. I thought it was a fluke the first time, but it happened again. I ordered from Chewy and the shape and size of the pieces were different, they smelled different, and my cats gobbled them up. The bag was even made of a different material in the Amazon purchase and the closure was very, very difficult to close. The one from Chewy was very easy to close. I don’t know if Instinct is having them made by different manufacturers, but they were not the same as what I got from Chewy. My cats could tell the difference. I spent $53 for a bag they won’t touch - yet the bag from Chewy is being enthusiastically eaten. Weird.

The freeze-dried bag was scratched, and unfortunately, I can’t feed my pet from an opened food pack. really disappointed…
