For the money you can’t go wrong done the job I wanted it for and have used after that on other job successfully

Purchased this cable finder for the usual reasons. I know its a cheap one, I at least expected to get a couple of uses from it. Didn't work at all... kinda disappointed but what can you expect with a product thats so cheap.

This comment may only apply to the particular unit I received...The on/off switch is supposed to allow you to select whether the tone is "continuous" or "modulated/bleeping" … however, the switch on the unit only turns the unit on even though it states you can select from the two tones... one of the switch positions does not work.However, when opening the unit to connect a battery, you will find in the middle of the circuit board a two position slide switch (unmarked) ... this switch allows tone selection.

The led light was not functioning, the switch was so cheap and product just did not work. Not worth the money
