Works well but it’s not the same power plug as Australia. I actually tried searching in the description and it wasn’t listed on the site before I bought it. I wish when you buy things in Australia from Amazon, they could at least warn you to buy an adapter. This has happened a few times now.

i waited almost one year before reviewing this – i wanted to have solid proof that spending a tad more on a brand name's product can effectively deliver that brand's reputation of functional, reliable, durable products... it can, and does! it's solid, wisely engineered, feels great when you hold it, clicks positively to desired trim, and sounds the way a quality device shall sound... weight, materials, parts' engagement, it's all exactly as it should be, on a quality appliance. i would have wanted to give it four star only, because the built-in rechargeable battery can't be replaced by the user – and i'm still giving it the full five-star rating because any waterproof battery-operated device can't be serviced by average user – nick a gasket while at it, obviously unintentionally, and the device would no longer be waterproof, without giving the risk of short-circuit away... so it's five stars, with the hope that any Philips service center will be able to source a fresh, new original battery, a few years from now. i like it from any angle, i'm sure it will last a lifetime and flawlessly be of service – which means i'm only unhappy for the battery will die, as any rechargeable battery indeed does, hopefully only later rather than earlier.
