Fun Waffle Maker for Your Kids (And You Too)!
I don't know about you, but my kids are addicted to waffles. They love them so much, but were getting tired of the same ol' same ol' belgium waffle shape. Naturally I went to look for a fun kids option and this one fit the bill. It's relatively simple to fill, you just need to take your time pouring. I use a measuring cup and that helps me pour with ease. The waffles cook up nicely and evenly brown. I do not flip them as it's not necessary (in my opinion). We really enjoy them when they are nice and golden on the outside and pillowy soft inside. The plates aren't removable, so that's a slight negative, but they are still easy enough to clean up. This truly is a fun way to get in a yummy and cute breakfast!

Works perfectly. Homerun with the kids.
This product works perfectly. Such a breath of fresh air to find a flawless and simple appliance that does what it says it will. Brush animals with oil (I used butter). Use about a rounded tablespoon per animal. Scooch the batter with a toothpick or your finger (I'm just feeding my kids ya'll) to fill in the ears/antlers. Gently close lid. Puffs up while cooking and lid pops open some. No worries, just leave it be. They come out effortlessly and the over cook beyond the shadows borders breaks off easily to clean up the margins of the animals. I used Kodiak power cakes batter for first try, with milk and egg and oil. So cute. So easy. Kids LOVE them.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!
Omg I just LOVE this waffle maker that looks more like a pancake lol. Annnddd, my daycare children LOVED their waffle but look like pancakes SOOO MUCH!!! They came out absolutely PERFECT! At first I thought it was a little small and definitely is smaller than it looks in the picture but I guess all 7 could equal 2 or maybe 1 and half of a full waffle (i think). But they were the absolutely perfect size for the ages i serve which are from zero to 5. They got to tell me which animals/pets they wanted and was so excited to eat them. It was fun and playful. So glad I bought this. Going to put pancakes on the menu more often, lol. Easy to clean, doesn't stick to pan (although I did spary a little cooking oil), doesn't take long to cook at all, about a minute. Don't let it stay more than that or you may burn it. But great product. I love it and my daycare children love it as well! Made eating breakfast fun! Thank you!!!!!

Adorable bite-sized waffles!
I bought this because I didn’t have a waffle iron, and thought as long as I was buying one, I might as well get one that makes adorable animal shapes. My kids are 11 and 12. The waffle iron shipped quickly and well-packaged. We followed the directions for prepping the iron by wiping it down and oiling it. We made the first recipe in the booklet that came with the iron. This was not the simplest recipe, as it involved separating four eggs, beating the whites into peaks, sifting flour and baking powder, etc. More of a weekend versus weekday recipe. The recipe also had 1/2 cup melted butter. The resulting batter was very thick and almost gluey, and I thought the waffles would be what my kids call an “epic fail”. When the iron was at temperature, I gave it a spray of non-stock spray and put 1/8th of a cup or so of batter in each little hole, set the timer for 3 minutes, and was amazed when I opened the lid. They turned out great! They were a little pale on top so I flipped them and let them go a few minutes longer. They turned out perfectly. They aren’t really waffle-like. They are almost like the steamed little dough balls that you get from a Chinese buffet, but crispy on the outside. I have no regrets about buying it, would buy it again, and think it would make a great gift for a tween or teen or parents of small kids. The little cakes are perfect for dipping in syrup.

Kids LOVE it!
My kids absolutely love weekend mornings when this gets pulled out. The animal shapes are so cute and it’s easy to use. The size is perfect for kids and also very packable for snacks/breakfast on the go. We have been using this regularly for 2 months and my kids still get excited for these. Love it and worth the price to add a little extra magic to breakfast with kids growing up too fast.

Easy to use and a hit with the Kiddos
Flavor wise, I know the maker doesn't have much to do with, as it depends on the mix you use, but it cooks fine and even, the waffles come out fluffy and the animal shapes are great... you need to pay attention to when the Ready light come up, to avoid over cooking them, but that is normal... can't tell how durable, but the construction is simple and well thought, we crank out quite a few each time we use it, had it for a good time already use it about once a week, so far so good.

Very cute but not worth the money
Very fun & cute but for $40 or not it, the plates should be removable so that you can properly clean it. Mine is 10 months old and we use 1x per month or every 2 months and noticed today it’s cracked! I have 3 kids and they love it. It’s like a toy for them and the mini waffles come out really cute. About 2 inches each so you can feed them each 1-2 and keep cooking. If you want to make for all 5 of us then it takes a little while to finish the endless batches. It’s fun but it’s not high quality especially since you have to be careful washing it. I’ve owned the Olaf waffle maker and this one is much better because you can feed multiple kids at a time. Olaf requires you to make 1 Waffle per kid at a time otherwise they don’t get the full body etc. And it’s not as fun. Plus the arms are a bit of a pain since they’re so thin.
