Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Chilli Oil Sauce is my favorite chilli oil. I add it to most of my dishes, and it instantly gives the food a lovely flavor with the perfect spicy kick. It’s rich, aromatic, and not overpowering, which makes it incredibly versatile. The price was very attractive, making it a must-have in the kitchen for anyone who loves heat and flavor.

This incredible stuff will forever have my 5 star approval. Marvellous flavour that other chilli oils fail to achieve - and the heat - wow! Just right; but for those of you who don’t have such a developed pallet - careful. I put it with just about everything, from my eggs, to my rice, and even in my marinades. Epic product.

The best chilli oil by far, great value for 6 jars, got a nice kick and can be used for so many different things on its own as a dip or added to food to spice it up.

I absolutely love the taste of this chilli oil. The heat level is out of this world and the texture & taste is second to none. There was no leakage during shipment so that was great. I use this mainly to pair with rice but this is very versatile and can be eaten in so many dishes. I beg everyone to try this at least once!!

My goodness, this really packs a punch. It’s way hotter than Lao Gan Ma and much more true to the name “chilli oil.” It’s mostly oil and about two-thirds filled with softer, almost fermented-style chillies, rather than the crispy texture that makes Lao Gan Ma so satisfying. The price is good, which is why I decided to try it. As of January 2026, I’ve noticed Lao Gan Ma steadily increasing in price, so I was open to an alternative. I’ll be honest though it’s not nearly as good in terms of texture. The flavour is explosive and definitely there, but it’s simply far hotter than I prefer. At the moment, I’m mixing about one-third of this with two-thirds Lao Gan Ma in my ramen, and overall I’m reducing my Lao Gan Ma usage to around three-quarters of what I used before, because this really brings the heat. To be clear, it’s great quality and delivers exactly what it promises. It’s just extremely hot and not crispy. I was expecting something closer to Lao Gan Ma, but this is a completely different kettle of fish.

I ordered 6 jars of Lee Kum Kee chilli oil. Unfortunately, one of the jars had opened during postage. I contacted the seller and asked whether a replacement or partial refund could be arranged. To my surprise, I received a full replacement of 6 jars. The seller was very prompt and polite in responding to my query. 5 stars for the customer service. Highly recommend. The chilli oil is the best. Very spicy, flavoursome and umami for taste buds. Absolutely beautiful on any kind of food if you like some heat 🔥 Tastes and smells savoury, mushroomy and garlicky.
