Love the general product build on this, I've had 1up cabinets and this beats them. I did swap out the controls, but I'd bet most people would be fine with the stock ones even though they're pretty cheap. The sound is mid tier, but the whole package adds up to a really fun experience. A lot of games for the money.

My mom bought me an original neo Geo system back in the 90s… Recently, I’ve just been nostalgic for it and I really wanted to play my old games like samurai showdown. I decided to buy this since the original consoles cost thousands of dollars in good condition. All I can say is that this thing is absolutely amazing and it’s worth every penny! Every game is exactly the way I remember it, the controllers are excellent and responsive, and there’s also something like 50 games on this arcade machine! That’s about 46 more than I had in the 90s!

This is a great 3/4 arcade cabinet. Nostalgia in a box, just as good you remember. I've never left a review ever, but the Unico MVSX made me feel like sharing my thoughts: Unico's quality control seems to be a step above Arcade 1up. The MVSX a very thoughtful design, this feels very much like a premium product, it's wonderful. All of the controls work well and function as designed. My only complaint is the buttons are not to my taste. They don't have a tactile click when pressed, and they feel mushy and cheap to me because of it. The joystick is ok. The button feel is a common observation with this item, I'm not alone in my thoughts among enthusiasts. The issue is easily remedied if you're lil bit handy. they're quite easy to swap out with some nice buttons, for not a lot of money. It's unfortunate that you need to do it though. because of the buttons were better this thing would be perfect. If you're into modding, this is a phenomenal platform. Small tweeks with big results to major surgery, you can do a fair amount with it. Just Google some mods if you're interested. Besides the small issue with the buttons, that work fine, but don't feel great to me personally. This is a sweet sweet toy. If you like 90's arcade games, especially fighting games. You need one of these bad boys. I freaking love this thing.

This is a great arcade with a lot of games. It has metal slug and its one of my all time favorite arcade games

Great system for fighting arcade games!

First issue: When I was opening up the box and removing the Item I heard a noise like something was loose from inside the arcade unit. Well when I powered it on the screen lite up and everything seems to be working until I went to use the controls. They were non responsive and nothing was lighting up. Turned it off then on again to make sure it wasn’t just a start up issue. That didn’t work. I took the back cover off ( 6 screws ) then saw this ( see pictures ). A support bar was broken off from under the monitor and that’s what was making the noise of the banging around. Well zipped tied to that monitor support bar was a ribbon cable with a weight attached to it that plugs into the control panel. So am guessing that got pulled out when that bar broke off. Second issue: When removing the scratch protective film off the monitor I saw this chunk of wood missing from the upper left corner. For the money there are better “ cabinets “. I just wanted a replacement because this unit has caught my eye for a while now and finally be able to afford one then to be disappointed…sucks.. Amazon only offered me a refund not even enough to rebuy another one. Looks nice tho.

Its great. Not perfect. I like that you can edit the button layout. One thing I found is that the screen is not as good as the arcade1up. If you look at the screen at an angle you cant see the picture as much. It looks like a blue/purple screen or faded picture

Es bueno para un mes o menos los controles son frajiles mas que nada las palancas puede ser que para un niño de 5 años le dure un mes y medio todo lo demas es buena la pantalla todo estuvo bien pero los controles no fue lo que esperaba

Lots of good games to chose from and quite fun. Plenty of entertainment and some games quite challenging. Arrived quickly and in good condition.

My reason for buying was to accomplish a childhood dream of owning an original MVS-1 Cabinent. MVS-1s out there though are big and have suffered from years of damage and wear. The MVSX accomplishes the goal of owning an MVS system which many of us have dreamed about since the early 90s. I love this unit. I haven't built the lower part of it yet because I want to put a real coin mechanism into it. But the screen on this is beautiful and overall the unit runs very fast for an emulator. I will say the unit is too fighter heavy so modding is essential. SNK should have included more variety there's a lot of mediocre fighters on here. My favorite game is Sengoku 3 its just a visually gorgeous game and probably the easiest game to get into. Excellent build quality the light up marquee sets it apart from the 1UPArcade machines and it just looks great. The audio is good but could be better, definitely some mod potential. I think the quality issues with the buttons are overblown, these buttons feel like those on an MVS-1 original, there's a bit of snobbery going on but it seems easy to mod. This is definitely a machine for anyone that's looking for a hobby project but doesn't want to have to build the whole machine outright. Note: I was shocked at the size of the unit. It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It's also heavy. So just be ready for that fact. Really happy with this purchase. [EDIT] The Power Adaptor broke on this after 3 months, I'm in the process of getting this issue resolved with the seller. Will be updated based on the outcome. I'm a little sad because the machine has been great so far. Update: I talked with the seller who has been wonderful and very fast to reply, the power pack was not the issue it was the power cable + plug that came with it. I changed over to another cable and the machine is working fine. Hopefully, it stays working.

Looks great and with 50 classic neo-geo games its a perfect addition to the man cave. Can't fault the after sales service. The screen had a row of dead pixels issue but the seller responded within 24 hours of my message and its all sorted now with a replacement screen. Extremely happy. Buy with confidence from this seller.

Beautiful product, i love it. Great range of games. Had it for a couple of months now and still cherish booting it up and playing it. Well put together. Highly recommended.
