Really happy so far!
Ive been a digital artist for close to a decade now with my Ipad and apple pencil serving me for most of that time. But my Ipad has since reached its end, and now that I've got a laptop of my own, I considered a drawing tablet. I spent an hour and a half researching drawing tablets since I wanted something that had certain features while still being affordable and durable. I was worried about brands outside of Wacom because I had only heard about most artists using Wacom, so I was reluctant to try this one. However, Wacom is not the most affordable, and the cheaper options didnt have as many buttons or features. I've been using this tablet (Medium size) for about a month now and I can say that it's perfect for what I need. It might not be for everyone, but if you draw regularly, use 3d modeling or design programs, or just like to use this as a mouse alternative, this is an amazing all-rounder. PROS: - Lightweight, weighs about as much as an IPad mini without a case - Affordable (the medium size is perfect, the space doesnt feel too cramped and it feels like drawing on my Ipad) - Pressure setting adjusting is easy - 10 customizable buttons (two on pen, eight on tablet) and scroll wheel - Downloadable driver is easy to understand - Buttons and scroll are on the side but I believe the tablet can be flipped for left handed users - Three different presets (art, modeling, and casual use) that can be switched between - Battery-free pen and USB-C cord for tablet (I liked this cause it can be used for my phone too) - Comes with extra pen nibs inside of the pen holder along with a USB to USB-C to connect from tablet to phone bonus: Its a gorgeous shade of green (I gave in and paid extra for this version..) CONS: - Doesn't work with Bluetooth (more of a personal preference for those who don't want wires) - Nib wears down with consistent drawing, so if you draw often or press down on the pen a lot, you might go through nibs faster - Scroll wheel isnt very easy to push (which I dont really like, but thats also subjective) though I believe some programs allow you to change scroller sensitivity I'll come back to update after a while, but overall, I'd say if you want a good first-time tablet, this is perfect!

My comparison with larger 1060P, for PC and Android.
I I Note that I previously had installed the larger 1060P version. I wasn't happy with that due to unstable software and black on black keys I couldn't see in my dimly lit work area (so I can see the PC screen better). One issue I had right up front was that the icon I was expecting to bring up the customization menu just brought up the install panel. So, I reinstalled it, which then brings up the customization menu until I log off my PC or close panel. I set one of the buttons to bring up the customization panel, since I never could get the icon to do anything but reinstall the driver. That fixes the issue, but uses up 1 of the 6 buttons. As for the device itself, it seems decent, but the ON light only gets slightly brighter when you bring the pen in range, so you have to watch it to see the transition. The best part is the wheel, which acts as 2 buttons, such as PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN (you can set which) and you can more easily control the speed it rotates than hitting a button repeatedly. Works great for vertical scrolling and zooming. I just wish there were more wheels, so I could do other things, like horizontal scrolling and panning. (I'd put the other wheel at a right angle to the first.) I have an issue with hand strain, so I set pen to click at the lightest possible touch. Unfortunately, this often results in double or triple-clicks. I haven't found a setting to avoid this, either in the customization panel or in Windows 7. Best I could do is set a key to the KB Escape key, so I can hopefully hit that to get out of whatever that extra click did. That's 1 of the 6 buttons (8 f you count the two on the mouse) used up. There's a pop-up "Virtual Keyboard" available with 24 programmable options. They can allow for a paragraph of text each, which might be good for standard disclaimers, etc. ("Do not use if allergic to plutonium or yak feces"). However, I didn't find it very useful. First, it's too big, even on the smallest size, and blocks too much of the screen. They have transparency options, but that makes it hard to see. Then, clicking on a virtual button seems to take the cursor focus away from the text window where I wanted the info typed. Instead it goes into the cut buffer. I can then click on the text window again and do CTRL V, but that requires the real keyboard (I suppose I could program a hardware button as CTRL V, but then that and the Virtual KB would take up 2 of the 6-8 buttons). Then, after clicking on a virtual button, you still have to close the virtual keyboard window. So, unless you regularly type the same paragraph of text and have no other easy way to do so, this option seems like more trouble than it's worth. BTW, this unit does not work with the 1060P installed, I had to uninstall it first. And the pens are not interchangeable. They really should provide a spare pen, not just nibs, as this device is useless without the pen. Speaking of the pen, I find the stand unusable, since my cat would carry the pen away in her mouth. I wrapped a small bungee cord around the device, instead, and restricted the usable area so I don't need to go there. When not in use, I tuck the pen under the bungee cord. I also added a shirt clip to the pen, so I can carry it in my pocket. One interesting difference between this and the 1060P, is that the 1060P uses relative coordinates, while this device uses absolute coords. The difference is that if you pick up the pen and put it back down somewhere else on the 1060P, the pointer on the screen doesn't move, while with this device, it does. Each has it's pluses and minuses. If you want to trace an image, say on a post card, you want absolute coords. But relative coords is how a mouse works, and is more intuitive and requires less hand movement. I found it was less annoying on this device if I set a tiny active area. If I ever want to trace something, I will set it to the full working area. I wish both tablets had a setting to change between absolute and relative coords. As for Android, I see no point in using either this or the 1060P with those cell phones. Neither the buttons nor wheel work with Android, and the results aren't as good as just drawing with my finger on the Android screen. And it doesn't work, when editing text, to click where you want to insert text. it just jumps to the end of the line. Maybe that is fixed in a later Android version, but as of Android 11, it's useless. So, to summarize, I find this more useful than the larger 1060P, as I can actually see the buttons and LOVE the wheel. If they made one with multiple wheels, I'd love it even more. I use it as a point-and-click device, though, not for drawing, where the larger tablet may be more advantageous.

Digital artist does Art
I enjoy it. Simple to use and install. Good cord length. Easy to program buttons for various art programs, good color. Fits well on my desk. Different modes to help control different things you would use on your pc while you draw. Good price. Good color. Sensitivity is adjustable in your program. No lag at all. Functions as intended.

Fantastic Entry-Level Pen Tablet
I previously tried to use an entry-level Wacom pen tablet years ago and never enjoyed it. I'm sure most of that was on my lack of experience, but some of it can be chalked up to the small drawing area and the fact I never enjoyed how Illustrator handled brushes. In the end, if was always better to just use a mouse. The rise in free (or inexpensive) painting apps lately inspired me to get another pen tablet and try again. Wacom's products were too expensive for something I might not enjoy, but research led me to the Inspiroy 2. For a much cheaper price I got a larger drawing area and a solid tablet with (a) more buttons and (b) a scroll wheel. The value is terrific, but how does it perform? Terrific! I was able to buy extra nibs for $10 that are made of felt, so they give more friction on the tablet (I don't remember my Wacom pen allowing that). The pressure sensitivity seems to work just fine though I have little to compare it too, and overall my experience has been well worth my purchase. If you are looking for a beginner tablet, absolutely start here and bump up to something elite as your talent grows. I also feel that drawing apps have come a long way. Adobe Fresco's brush engine, for example, is far better than anything Illustrator has and the vector brushes in Fresco are fantastic. My only complaints come from a few quirks with the Huion app that is used to specify the actions for each button. I'm left-handed so I work with this turned upside down. The Huion app lets you turn it 90 or 180 degrees to accommodate your needs. That all works fine. What could be better, though, is that when you tell the app you are working with it turned 180 degrees, picture of the tablet in the app doesn't also turn 180 degrees. So, I have to specify the functions of each button while trying to figure where it will be once the tablet is spun around. That's a simple change they can make in software -- and I hope they do. I also found that a change to the button functions is not immediately represented when using UWP apps, like Adobe Fresco. Sometimes, I have to restart the Huion app or unplug and re-plug in the tablet. Those are small issues overall and do not kill the experience.

Great Tablet for the cost
Initial impression: Solid performance and nice build. Ran a preliminary test of pressure sensitivity on Photoshop and Blender brushes and they seemed to perform as expected. Let us see what happens as I use it more.

Excellent product for designers, photographers and creatives!
I have bought Huion products before and they are great! This was for a client, but I couldn't help myself and took a peek. And tested it. Nice design, green is not my favorite, but they have other options. Super responsive, just download the drivers from huion and install. Great value, easy to connect and use, nice finish and quality.
