1) It’s metal!2) My check engine light turned off when I put it on3) Looks WAY better than crappy plastic stock cap.True story; last week my check engine light came on again for the second time in 6 weeks. I swung by my local mechanic and asked him to use his scanner and as expected, my fuel cap was the culprit again. Jeeps are notorious for bad gas caps. Probably because they are plastic and sit exposed to the elements year round. And mine was 8 years old. This Rugged Ridge fuel cap is a quality piece. Aluminum construction and fits perfectly. Looks much better than that plastic crap with all the warnings written on it.And most importantly; check engine light turned off. Yeah it’s not the cheapest, but totally worth it.

Its a bit procey but is a nice upgrade to the old factory cap, only suggestion I would make is they add a lanyard to the top of the cap so you dont forget about putting it back on and drive off without securing it.

Love this so much better than the cheap-looking OEM fuel cap. Worth the investment!

It couldn’t be easier to install. You literally just put it on. I really like the way it looks. Also it matches my antenna holder which is from the same company.

Breaks super easily. Heaven forbid you drop it the whole inside blows up... amd for 75 bucks you'd hope they would make it a little more durable. Will be buying a different product from now on. This is my 3rd one and all break with ease. Super unfortunate coming from this company.

Cap looks great! I’ve had it for a couple of years. I went to get gas the other day and it came apart. Really? A 19 yo jeep and the gas cap only lasted a couple of years!! Disappointed!
