I recently suffered a slow puncture on my MT10, the hole was tiny and found more by luck than anything when turning the wheel to get to the valve and seeing a tiny bubble on the wet tyre. I didn't want to plug it and just haven't the time to remove the wheel and then have to leave it to get fixed. Decided on this Slime and it's worked perfectly...so far, the cold tyre lost just one PSI overnight but since has remained constant so it's not only cheaper than a repair it's more convenient too and very simple to use. The blurb says it's a temporary fix (6 days or 100 miles) however some people have mentioned they put this in new tyres in case of whereupon it keeps sealing punctures as they happen and carry on safe in the knowledge it's in there ready to fix the next one? I can only assume this stuff stays wet/active until needed but there doesn't appear to be a definitive answer confirming this? For now, my 190 section rear Bridgestone tyre remains at pressure so I'm happy.

Bought this to fix a puncture in my vans tyre. I was very skeptical if it would work. It works a absolute treat. I've now fixed 5 punctures with not one failure. I take the wheel off and check the seal with water but I've a friend do it with the wheel on the car. Amazing product. Svenme over £60 in tyre puncture repair

I tried on a relatively straight forward screw in a good tyre. The kit works but not sure re twisting in the cord with a drill. Mine never really sealed . Pin hole leak. Which I tried to reglue. I would use drill borer but a hand held twister . I think the drill twists it too skinny

This can be a life saver if you own a car with no spare wheel. I own a Tesla and I had a puncture in my tyre. Normally that would require jacking up the car, removing the wheel and taking to have the tyre replaced - certainly not practical if at the side of the road! I removed the wheel, dentified the puncture with some water to see where the air was coming out (water with a little dish soap is best). I found a fairly significant hole. With this kit you use one of the spikes to push right through the hole in the tyre then insert one of the supplied tyre plugs using the other spike and use the supplied glue to hold it in and complete the repair. Leave for recommended time to set and you're good to go! Pretty simple really. The tyre plug sticks out a bit when completed but I didn't bother trimming it as it was flattened when driving. The repair lasted for three days until I could source a new tyre. I'm confident it would have lasted longer too. Highly recommended and will buy again.

Does the job, good value and quality

I had a slow leak from a screw in the tyre. Before heading down to the local tyre shop, I decided to give this kit a go to see how it performed. First attempt didn't seal successfully (small bubbles when testing with soapy water), so I pushed it in and tried again. Second attempt worked perfectly and the tyre has not dropped in pressure in the months following. These are meant to be a 'temporary' repair until you get it patched professionally, however, I think they have to state this due to regulations. I think this repair will easily outlive the life of the tyre. Instructions are basic and could be improved. You don't need to deflate the tyre to install these bungs. Depending on the thickness of your tyres, it can be difficult to insert the reamer tool into the tyre. Great bit of kit to have in the car (along with a tyre inflator) in case you get a puncture on your travels.

I love the idea of attaching the rasper and plug holder to a drill and I've used it a few times now without issues. Why I've given only 3 stars, because the plugs and bond cement are rubbish. They are brick-red colour type plugs and today for the first time I kept getting bubbles after plugging the tyre, so I tried again, this time I have tested with Leak Detection Spray before cutting the excess, and guess what, bubbles coming out from the top of the excess plug.... Had in my house one more black coloured plug and after using that instead, happy days, no bubbles whatsoever... Also the bonding cement is very runny and it splatters over you when trying to push the coated plug in the inflated tyre... The manual tyre plug kit from slime comes with the black coloured plugs which fortunately had only one left and saved my day.

Jag har läst positivt och en hel del negativt efter jag använde slime. Fixen var enkel och fungerade på första försöket. Jag lagade min namni burn e. Jag körde 1.5h till stället som bytte däck. För priset så var det super.

Hatte mir einen Nagel in den Autoreifen eingefahren. Mit diesem Reparaturset konnte ich das Loch schnell und kostengünstig Reparieren. Kann das Set absolut empfehlen.

voila mon aventure je possède une bmw f30 de 2015 un beau matin mon dong bmw m indique que mon pneu arrière gauche à une perte de pression et qu il faut m arrêter rapidement non loin de mon domicile je fait demi tour afin de vérifier tout cela car bmw non pas prévu de galette ,roue de secours,voir même un compresseur car à la sortie du véhicule en 2015 les pneus étaient des runflats mais entre temps et une première main qui à changé les pneus sans remettre des runflats surement du au coûts de ceux ci je me retrouve avec des pneus classiques brefs aucun soucis j usqu à cette perte de pression je vérifie mon pneu et là stupeur un cailloux pointu me perce mon pneu ,pas de soucis j ai un kit de mèche dans mon garage je vais réparer ce dernier je fais ma réparation tout est ok pendant une semaine et au-bout d une semaine bingo mon dong BMW préféré qui m indique le même problème à la même roue cette fois ci et après quelques recherches une mèche peu fuir en air effectivement c était mon cas ,c est la que slime rentre dans cette folle aventure après de nouvelles recherches afin de trouver la quantité idéal pour mon pneu j ai suivie le mode d emploie et honnêtement je n y croyais pas forcément mais depuis ces 15 derniers jours aucune perte de pression de mon pneu je recommande ce produit qui m a sauver la mise et relativement efficace de plus il est compatible avec les capteurs de pression tmps de la plupart des véhicules ce qui n est pas forcément le cas des bombes anti crevaison qui bouche ces fameux capteurs et crée un Default!!
