LEATHER IWB Holster. S&W J Frame 1-7/8 & 2-1/8 Barrel. Black R/H

Finally, I found the perfect leather holster for my S&W 1 7/8" barrel. The holster is soft quality leather and the barrel comes right up to 1/8" from the edge of the holster. Perfect for my snub nose. Like a custom fit. Other holsters are made for the J frame but for up to 3" barrels which is too much material for the snubby. The clip is strong steel. The cut of the holster is perfect, being able to draw from the holster without any clearance issues. While reholstering you have to manipulate the top of the holster. This is fine because the holsters that have a wide stiffened top are too bulky for me. I'd rather have the slimmer holster and this is slimmer than 2 others I've tried & returned. Plus the edges of the holster where the 2 sides are pressed together are finished and slim. Like they were heated together. And of course there is stitching all around. Function first, asthetics 2nd, but this is not only a great functioning holster but also a very good looking holster. When I first received the holster there was a little extra space between the cylinder and the inside of the holster so I placed the holster with the gun inside in a vise with the jaws protected so not to damage the leather or gun. The holster formed perfectly. Great holster and I highly recommend the Cardini holster.

Excellent quality. It is definitely leather and the fit is perfect. You definitely won't be disappointed in this. The clip is good and firm so it stays very secure on my pants

I'm sorry I didn't buy this sooner. I've always been a Safariland and DeSantis person. I'm sorry I didn't hear about Cardini Holsters sooner. AWESOME holster. Fits gun perfectly. Comfortable to conceal. Very good, real, genuine leather. Might take a little while to break in. But it's a great holster.

This holster compares favorably with my old Bianchi. I like it enough that this is my second purchase. The first one I bought was back when the company was called Cardini. They have since changed their name to Max Carry. The leather is a good thickness with solid stitching. It’s actually double stitched where the leather joins together. It’s well molded to fit a J frame with excellent retention. The clip is heavy duty and well stitched to the holster. The leather is extended where it rests against your body so the weapon doesn’t rub against you. Lastly, the gun sits well into the holster so the trigger guard is totally enclosed. This one has everything I personally look for in a holster. I really like it and the craftsmanship that went into it.

Great holster! I have a Taurus 605 and it fits it perfectly. It does have a break in period, but after that your good to go!
