I admit that when I chose this case, that I was getting it for my monocular, tripod and phone attachment. I coach high school girls lacrosse and we have a speed gun so I knew it would work well for my application. When this arrived, I was REALLY IMPRESSED! Not only is this an attractive, well-made, high-quality case, but the interior of the main pocket is also fleece lined. NOTE: this case is NOT padded, but it is lined in plush fleece which will cradle the contents, but NOT protect it from drops. If you are buying this for a speedgun, then those are typically designed and built to be handled on the field of play and are more durable. If you are using this bag for another purpose (e.g. monoculars, binoculars, camera lenses, etc.) just be aware that it is not padded. This is a perfect solution for me and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bag!!
