I bought this kit to custom length jumper cables for breadboards. This kit is stranded core (meaning multiple core wires). It is more flexible and more than sufficient for most DIY projects to build prototypes (so I kept it) but not for breadboard. Look for "solid core", the same brand has a "twin" product just for that.

Good variety of colours at a very reasonable price and nicely presented on an axle in the box; keeps the spools together very well. The only downside is that the insulation is a bit thick and springy - it doesn't want to stay where it's put. As others have said that and mean that the tails disappear back into the box.

Really handy little kit... cable is good quality and the holder/feeder keeps everything tidy.

Seems like decent quality stranded wire for my Arduino projects. Wire has handy spools, a box and all well packed. I measured the wire, it is 22AWG gauge as stated in description.

Great product, with diffrent colors aswell which makes creating a circuit that much easier. Not sure if this is the best price available though.

I've ordered this again. It's been a useful thing to have for my hobby electronics. However, oddly, I've mostly used the black in my first box (hence the re-order) and would have preferred to be able to replenish just the one reel but I couldn't find any way to order just one reel.

I ordered this kit for stranded wire but received instead solid core wire. It seems fine but it isn't what I wanted. Even the packaging says stranded, so be careful when you open your item to ensure they've sent you what they think they have.
