Can this be used with the Breeze 760?

Not sure. I have the Breeze 540 for 35,000 gallons and it works.

How to tell the cell on Breeze model 540 has spent its life?

You can call a pool person to come test it or do like I did, youtube bucket testing your salt cell... it was perfectly clear mine was done...mine lasted about 5 or 6 years. good luck
