Montblanc 101581 Piston Converter, black

Did not fit my pen

Bought this as the original converter broke (after 10 years of daily use I’m not unhappy), speedy service, fits perfectly

Brought an old fountain pen back to life

The first thing to be noticed with this product was the screw thread by which it is located in the nib unit. That was new to me, having only ever come across such units that were pushed into place. The screw makes it less likely to come adrift, therefore less chance of leaks. The pen into which it fits was second hand and came with no instructions. This unit did have 'destructions' which were useful and clear. Good advice on maintaining the pen and ink flow by regular cleaning. Have been impressed by this service and kit.

Not vendors fault. Mont Blanc documentation is unclear but this item is not compatible with my pen. Checked at shop and examined Mont Blanc catalogues information does not appear to be available on line.

Excellent quality product, I bought it for a Mont Blanc Chopin pen and it fitted easily and works well. Thank you.......

It did not match but the sale person did offer to return I did not and keep it as I may need it in the future.

Rather expensive but then it is Montblanc

Genuine Montblanc converter, I like the fact that it fits very securely in the pen.
