I thought it was a bit tight at first but found it needed too be otherwise the dog can get it off it’s not overly tight as he can still accept treats just fine. My cane corso HATED it at first and kind of walked like he was drunk. But after about 2 days he was used too it and realised it meant longer walks. I needed this because I’m 6 months pregnant and he’s quite a bad puller but with this I’ve not had any issues with him pulling anymore. He no longer even tries and our walks are lovely now. I highly recommend this as I’ve looked at/tried more expensive options and this has been by far my favourite. I will also admit it took me a second too figure out how too put it on him but once I figured it out I could do it without a second thought.

My Staffy had a horrible habit of pulling all the time making walks a battle, even with a harness he thought he was a lead sled dog, I bought this and from the outset he calmed down and walked on a slack lead, walking is now relaxed and enjoyable not a constant fight.

Really pleased with this product. My dog didn't mind having it on at all. She pawed at it once the very first time it was on and once more after I washed it and it shrunk a little so was a bit tight (ooops!), but it did relax again back to normal size after a short time!I paired it with lots of treats to get positioning right while on walks and it's made them an absolute joy. I was getting quite severe shoulder pain from pulling before I used this. My dog will walk to heal, but only for a short time and then I'd lose connection with her and she'd yank at the end of the lead. This corrected the issue as I had hoped.The instructions are endearing, if a little old fashioned. I did find it tricky to put on as the nose loop will always slip when it is not worn so you have to fiddle with it slightly to position it correctly before putting it on. The plastic clip seemed sturdy for what it is.I also bought a separate safety attachment as it didn't come with one, just to be safe rather than sorry.I've used it for a month now, but have decided to upgrade to a Halti, but the one with the separate loop around the nose and one underneath that tightens with pressure rather than the one with the same design as this. My concern with this one was that, although it didn't ride up into my girl's eyes when I had it correctly fitted, the loop would move slightly around her face if she was on one side of me for a while and that did bring it closer to her eye than I was happy with. I went for a head collar with more structure as a result.Having said that, the first time I used the new collar I attached the lead to the wrong bit and so there was no pressure on the head collar and she walked beautifully because she was used to wearing this one and walking so nicely!Overall I am really happy and it is very good value, especially as a way to check your dog will respond well without spending a lot. It made a big difference to walks, but does need to be paired with training in my opinion.

Omg. This is the best thing I have ever got for my puppies I have two puppies who pull like no one's business when we go for a walk. I was at the end of my tether with walking I had tried everything. Then I came across this I was a little sceptical but I bought one to try to see if it works and my god it is amazing so much so I've bought another for my other pup. No more pulling on dog walks and I can actually enjoy my walks now. Highly recommend this.

This helps give me more control with a pup that pulls! Tried every type of harness/lead attachment - spent lots of money on all of these and this works much better. He's not 100% perfect walking but it helps me manage him better

I like this gentle leader as it really works. It isn't difficult to use, if you read the instructions.It definitely stops our dog from pulling. However, it has started to rub the fur off across his muzzle.We have made sure that it fits snug enough, it's not too tight & not so loose that it rubs so, it would have been better if it had a bit of soft padding fitted across the muzzle.We have a young boxer so having used this, I would suggest a different version for their short soft muzzles.

We bought this to train and walk our mini golden doodle puppy since she was 4 months old, this is very gentle which gives her a lot of room to open her mouth eat or drink, but it also keeps her calm and accurately send her the message of where we want her to go but turning her head with it. Very happy with this product, it’s safe to our baby yet very effective

after getting used to it being on her muzzle, she walked perfectly without pulling, & there was a lot of slack in the leash

My dog didn't miraculously stop pulling but he is way more manageable when he pulls because he cannot put his weight into the pull like when wearing a collar or a harness.
